Three-and-a-half years, according to my profile. My first forts were founded some time before the Age of Z-levels.

Since the 2D version (boatmurdered version). So way before Z-levels were added.

I found DF when 31.16 came out, so about 5 months now. Almost half a year?  :o It does not feel like that long.

I started in 2006 sometime. My first donation was October 5th, 2006, which is a few months after the game came out. Holy crap it's already been 5 years.

My forum account says September 2007. Pretty sure I started before that by a couple months, but I don't know for sure. I believe I got here just in time to see the final release before the great Release Hiatus z-levels were put in (took soooo long).

I registered my forum account in may 2009, and had been playing for a month or 2 before registering, so just about 2 years now.

I heard about DF long before I started to play it. Started goofing off with it late last year. I have to blame thank Internet Kraken's LP of Reveredtour for getting me hooked. Broke my teef on the learning curve at first, read some more LP's (like Boatmurdered of course!) and got hooked.

I've been playing DF for about 8 months now? So far my longest lived fort was good ol' FrostySabres I had a few weeks ago....cracked open hell by accident :s made it to a solid 12 years though!
