If after your month you want more nostalgia but don't want to pay, I suggest Shards of Dalaya (the one I'm forcing myself not to play).  Most of the gameplay experience, but with new lore, slightly different class balance and spells, and seems fairly tight knit and continually developed.  A few other interesting quirks too (adepts, mining, alignment and religion, specialization, tomes for continuing advancement, etc).  Also, a smaller raid paradigm, and much less poopsocking (which seems rampant once again from reading the EQ servers).

I'll download it. Has anyone made a healer yet? I'd rather play enchanter, but I'll make a cleric if there is no one making a druid, shaman, or cleric.

Also, I only have limited experience with Crushbone, but I'll head there once I get into the game. I usually went Freeport or at least Antonican, as the market zone was NFP on that server. Plus that way you don't have to worry about 'TRAIN TO ZONE LINE' in dungeons so much since Commonlands is an outdoor zone.

Okay, on Fippy now and have a L4 Monk but I'm willing to roll a toon dedicated as a B12 grouping/leveling alt located at any city.

/tell Cisterv  - or mail me in-game or by PM here.

Make whatever you want, though we don't seem to have a healer.

Well, it turns out that they've changed the trials so that existing accounts can't use them, and new accounts are limited to the Tutorial zone and can't exit. That means I'd have to get a game card. I was feeling the pull of EQ strongly enough that I remembered I have a few small denomination Best Buy gift cards accumulated from over a few years of Christmas and birthdays, but apparently Best Buy doesn't sell time cards in their online store anymore. In other words, I'll probably sit out on this one. Too bad, the progression server sounds sweet.
