Not in any useful fashion. Your best bet is probably going to be just hanging out in a C1 or C2 and working from there for a while. Basically, C5 and C6 anomalies are for fleets only (For the love of goodness don't rat with a capital in a WH. Not unless you've got the buddies to gun down a fleet that feels confident in taking out a capital), but C3/C4 are pretty good for solo battleships. Pretty profitable, but *mind your fit*.

after some thinking i decided to install the game in my mother's PC. lower graphics and performance aside it plays nicely.

now, im trying to investigate if its possible to run wormholes with a minmatar alt. i just started the agent missions so it will take a time to get skill worthy i guess. but im starting to theorycraft some stuff.

best i can think of is using a Rupture or a Fleet Scythe. but i've never flown minmatar to be honest. the Rupture seems more suited to armor tanking but im not sure if it has enough EHP to survive in a C1. the Fleet Scythe is more shield oriented (actually it can do either) so im not sure if trying passive shield tank. specially taking in account that it can use missiles.

one or the other i'll have to invest into ammo. so im trying to figure out which would be the best option at least, once the skills are capped.

Hm. I don't know how to use any fitting tools (I am not that much of a dedicated gamer) however, as a Minmatar Alpha I can tell you the following: If it's a combat site, I recommend *knowing what you're heading into*. For data/relic sites, if it is not a pirate site, DON'T GO THERE, it's loaded with rats as well.

Alright, you won't want a Fleet Scythe. Rupture is the tanky cruiser. It can do any tank you want it to. I have a 200hp/s passive shield fit an alliance-mate gave me. I saved that fit, because I can use it as an Alpha clone. If you want, I can try to find it for you.

well its because the navy ships tend to have much better stats than the common T1 version. the rupture was the first thing i got in mind for this but turns out it doesnt have tank bonuses compared to the Maller in my main toon so im not sure if it will survive in the few anomalies i know one can run in a C1.

i was thinking on active armor with a web then using autocannons. web should give some more aggro from the sleeper drones so they dont focus on my drones. the rupture also has a bit more armor than shield.

the scythe on the other hand can run with either missiles or projectiles and can do either armor or shield. so something about active shield and missiles seemed like a better alternative.

im not sure on the passive shield alternative seeing that it would increase my signature radius and may make me easier to pin point by combat probes.

yeah i could look for pirate sites for exploration in a probe.

i want to look at that fit yeah.

Yeah, it makes you easier to see. However, if you aren't Dscanning every FIVE seconds, you're doing it wrong. You'll see the combat probes first.

Good trick is to find out of the way pocket systems in hi-sec. I wandered into one once that had a dozen anomalies in it. Just fine somewhere no one has a reason to go and you'll often find quite a few built up.

Things like this make is so annoying that there isn't any auto-Dscan.

It is just an UI issue. I don't find pressing the Dscan hotkey every 5 seconds particularly interesting.

indeed. i've flown several systems in Heimatar and have so far found like 3 data and 1 relic. security lvl aside its was worth the travel and much more fullfilling than trying to pinpoint specific wormholes. there was a system with more but by the time i scanned one of them someone was already hacking the containers.

i've got a basic minmatar datacore, some typical salvage loot and components and a few datadisks. its like 4.5 million and i havent even filled the containers.

i was  thinking on scanning combat sites too but my probe doesnt have any defenses, or drones to fight. so nope.

auto D-Scan would make it too easy. but at least the old UI was good. the new one with the whole visual bubble just clutters more screen. still, i keep pressing the button as like i was playing cookie clicker, every millisecond counts.

to easy is an null argument. difficulty should come from gameplay, not from fighting the ui.
its also not the official reason. the official reason is shitty legacy netcode, and performance issues when every dscan information had to be pushed to every undocked client.

Been ages since I last played Eve, no idea how much has changed but I probably can still fly 90% of T1 sub-caps.

found a very quiet system with at least 4 sites. rule of thumb is that when there's 1 or 2 signatures its probably wormholes so it took a lot of travelling to find a system with this amount of signature. so far i've found 1 data and 2 relic.

havent found anything special, counting 2 datacores, some decryptors, salvage, some components, carbon, a minmatar encryption skillbook and a medium ancillary armor repper BPC. total volume is like 7m3 from 600 something.

im gonna chart the next route.

EDIT:

planned a long trip to a yellow system. first star in the list shows 4 signatures. 1 is a WH the other 2 data and 1 relic. turns out i could only get to 1 data because the other were signatures with lvl 4-5 difficulty and i couldnt get 100%. on the other hand i jumped to 9 million worth of items because i found more decryptors and a faction projectile sentry turret BPC. first faction stuff i find, it will be hard to sell probably.

Your best bet with the faction BPC would be to list it in contracts at a popular trade hub (be sure to look up comparable contracts to determine a competitive price).

yeah, if not i think i'll keep them and then sell them in bulk if i cant manufacture and move the stuff.

total isk value of what i found yesterday was like 15 million. it was barely 30 m3. i think im gonna do combat sites putting some armor tanking on the ship, but it may be dangerous anyways. still, one can try. if not, at least i can get some extra cash doing anomalies that no one wants to do (drone sites and that stuff). im not really using the expanded cargo as it was meant.

i returned to base yesterday and sold most of the tutorial ships save for the thrasher, a venture and a wreathe. i separated what i got from those and moved the rest of the stuff into the industrial to sell in jita.

my wallet jumped to 23 million. it was a nice cash in, and i have enough to up my equipment to meta 4. if i dont buy the armor tanking stuff im gonna return with the scanning rigs and equipment. hope those 5% increases in scanning strength do something to get at least lvl 4 sites.
