App was denied without reason. Oh well.

They have application requirements. They require confirmation of reddit membership of 45 days or more, your character API key, account creation for their authorization process on their website...a bunch of things.

I suspect it's a case of "if you can't follow instructions, we don't want you."

Im gonna take this as you trying to be helpful, instead of it sounding rude. But I followed the instructions to the T. I suspect that I was denied due to being mor e of a lurker then an active poster, only replying to people on reddit maybe once a month.

EDIT: Ill toss my alt into BNI, he is nearing 4m SP with some decent skills worked up.

TEST and Goons literally had the worst combat record in the game, for years.

Look where they are now.

Yeah it does just seem like in EVE if you have more bodies to throw at the enemy, you can overwhelm nearly any force with sheer numbers.

Ugg yeah, Dont do Goons unless you want a good chance of getting podded by your own alliance for no reason whatsoever.

Some good people in goons yes, but loose recruiting leads to alot of people in for loots and lulz.

Nothing like moving a convoy 45 jumps (before jump freighters were in game), only to get attacked my a gang in your own freaking alliance at the time. Such a farcry from my prior time in ascn and dirty deeds, my corp quickly jumped out after that.

If you want to get started with PVP, but not jump straight into 0.0 space (i.e. the deep end of the pool) it might we worth getting into a good factional warfare corp. Can get good isk there and lots of corps tend to recruit for each of the empires. You need to be a tad bit more careful about flying though.

I'm pretty lazy so I'm just going to copy/paste here:

I will be close to maxing out exploration skills on Kael soon, and I've been making decent isk exploring in low and nullsec. However in the interest of lolboredom and getting ourselves to do something together, I will be willing to probe out sites in my covops if corp members/Bay12ers/and associated peeps want to tag along and fleet up.

Requirements:
1. Must be able to fly a combat cruiser well or better. BC and T3s would be nice. You can bring a salvaging destroyer if we have someone competent flying with us. I cannot guarantee your safety however - which brings me to requirement 2.
2. You must be willing to lose your ship and possibly die, horribly. It's low and nullsec, and Eve.
3. You must split the phat loots if you are a competent combat pilot. I aim to share evenly. If you are a newbie tagging with us, we will figure out a fair %. Assholes don't get invited back.
4. The more suicidal we are (and deeper we dive into null/fly as cloaky-fags), the better loot we get.
5. You should get on teamspeak or some voicechat.
ADDITIONAL: You must be willing to screw around in comms/chat while I bust my arse trying to hit the paydirt probing out a good site.

I generally make 10m-500m a site, if I am successful. Of course, it's exploration. The explorer does a ton of work for totally random profit. Let us pray to the RNG loot piņata gods.
