I'd say a smaller fee for younger players. Maybe 2mil for each month of playing up to 10mil?

We can do that. The only reason we have an entrance fee is to have a decent reward available.

Should we allow rigs for the tournament? I almost got some, because I rig everything. But maybe some ppl would not want to shell out the ISK for a throw away ship?

Mostyn Iorik, more or less any time within sociable hours GMT (so probably not after 12 midnight or before 6 AM)

As for the rules, sounds good; I'm also happy for the entry fee to be lowered, I'm not participating for the prize I'm just in it for fun so whether there's a big prize pool or not is no bother.

With regards to rigs and fits, honestly I'd rather not exclude T2, but I can appreciate that we have a lot of new players so meta 4 does even the playing field a bit... but I question how much it helps, considering those who are likely to fit T2 also have 5's in the majority or all of the support skills, so already have a significant advantage regardless. Restricting T2 modules may be a pointless gesture at that point, and given many Meta 4 modules cost more than their T2 counterparts it may even be counter productive.

I haven't checked the fitting requirements of rigs, so this may fall in the same arena as the T2 restriction, but if they are generally easy to fit I'd say it's up to the player.

These are just suggestions and thoughts on the current setup though, I'm happy to participate however it's set up :)

From what I've seen, many rigs are relatively cheap, so I'd say we allow them. But that, and whether we allow T2 or not, really depends on how many people want them or not. So if you have opinions on that either way, do post them here!

Also, for the entrance fee, Axton was very generous and donated 50mill already for the pot. I'm starting to thing we could dispense with the obligatory entrance fee. We could just have it be donation-based/optional fee.

I'm probably in (Anja Galena). However, Friday 26th is my irl birthday so you all better let me win! it's entirely possible I will be out getting drunk. As such, I'll likely only be available from ~9am to 3pm GMT.

Rules so far seem fine to me. I'm all for rigging, but I don't feel T2 modules are a good idea, simply due to how much of an advantage T2 guns give you.

I prefer rigs. Fitting rigs might make better fits possible for those with less than perfect fitting skills.
I already built a ship and went for some meta 3 items, because meta 4 was just too expensive. I don't really care about a couple million, but I know some ppl have to. And it just isn't worth it sometimes. At least not for a throwaway ship.
we could also limit it to fitting rigs, maybe cap rigs.

I would prefer it if t2 was not allowed, because some of the mods are just so much better (guns, damage control).

Lasik en Chalune. I will not be available for most of Friday unfortunately, as I have a date I must attend to. I will be available on Friday up until 17:00 EDT which is 21:00 EVE time.

Huh. So apparently I received a 30 day ban for client modification auto-piloting to zero. I am pretty sure I never modified my client to auto-pilot to zero. How do I dispute such a ban?

Were you manually flying, or actually auto-piloting? If you had your AP active, were you watching it at all, did you actually drop at 0?

Oh god, the time that would save. I only wish. Apparently they can catch you though, so that sucks. I've never quite understood the reasoning behind making autopilot warp to 10km except to spite people who use it.
