You can't give a medium tower more CPU. And upgrading to a large will probably be quite the issue since they need more fuel and cost more overall.

With the mining in place we will earn around 1bil a week I don't think a large tower is going to be much of a problem :P

Re: Battleships:

Amarr: Meh, whatever. They seem to have gotten away quite well. Abaddon was long considered the best pvp bs, probably ok it got a slight nerf.

Caldari: Raven was bad, is still bad, probably will stay bad. :D Its tank was already thin for lvl 4s though. Rokhs are used a lot in large fleets atm, I don't think it will change.

Gallente: Poor Gallente. :( Mega seems to have gotten a nerf if you want to armor tank it properly, Hyp is now better at armor tanking/can do more DPS. Not sure if the lost med matters a lot for missionrunning. Sure hurts for pvp.

Minmata: STOP MAKING MISSILE BOATS OUT OF OUR SHIPS!! So tempest got a slight boost? Sweet.

I don't think that the loss of utility slots hurts BS a lot for missions. It is way faster if you change ships after a few missions and salvage with a noctis.

Not everyone lives at the end of a tunnel or does missions for only a single corporation. Personally, if I do three or four missions in a row it's entirely possible that no two will be in the same system. What about epic arcs? What about people who maintain positive standing with multiple factions and therefore have multiple mission hubs? It's slow enough moving a mission ship cross 10-20 jumps. Having to make a second trip in a shuttle then return in a noctis...and then again to get home...is ridiculous.

Utility slots are not a game balance issue. They are a gameplay convenience issue.

Is there a general b12 corp, and if so, what's it up to?

Yes. Magma Forge. Chat channel is "Bay 12 Eve". We routinely have as many as 5-10 people in channel, though when I logged off just a few minutes ago I think we only had 2 or 3. Corp is headquartered in Ordion and has a lowsec PoS elsewhere. 28 members in the corp, and missions for the Amarr Navy. Several of us are in various other corps but still fleet up together from time to time. Recently tried living in a wormhole, but that didn't work out. A few people are running incursions regularly, several others of us are planning to get into it soon but haven't yet. There's been discussion of doing some all-bay12 incursions eventually, but probably not until after the summer skill change.

Here's a 21 day free trial.

Even if you are running for a single corp, missions usually lead you to 2 or three different systems. I don't really see a problem there. 10-20 jumps is nothing, but maybe I am just used to jumping around a lot (in a BS, yes). You usually don't switch systems very often. If you run for even only a few hours, I think the noctis would be worth it. Or, if you have the money, just station one noctis at all your mission hubs, shouldn't be more than 2 or 3. You can run lvl 4s in the Misha area for Amarr and Minmatar, maybe more?
I did the 34j to Ordion from Rens quite a few times, just for some bay12 actions, and then back again.
Others regularly jump 2-5 Incursions ships through half of highsec to get them all to the new Incursion (now that would be too much for me as well).

But then, it never occured to me to salvage in a BS (ok, the ones I used had a maximum of 1 utility high).

If anyone is interested, I will sell my Maelstrom to anyone from Bay12 "cheap". I don't want to take a huge hit on it, but I'll eat some of the cost to help get you into Incursions. I don't have the fit here, but email me in game and I will send it over.

I am interested. :D I shot you an in-game mail.

Luckily, looking at the updated Gallente BS thread, it seems that the situation is looking a lot better. Mega's gaining another low and Hyperion's losing a turret and gaining another low, but the 5% damage per level is turning into a 10% per level, which is nice.

As a final note, I didn't have much time but I've gone through my list of contacts and ensured that a corp contact has been made with good standing, for everyone that I know of from B12, whether they're in MagmaForge or not. The PoS guns have been set to fire upon anyone with less than good standing with the corp, so if you're not in MagmaForge but intend to visit the PoS, check your standings with the corp first. If they're not set at good or above, please drop the corp an eve-mail or leave a message here and someone who has permissions will set you up :)

I went to visit and was fired on. On the plus side, that does confirm that the guns do work.

Well atleast the guns work. Now we need to move it one system down I fucked up :/ so tonight I will be searching for another good mining site.

Even though it says on the moon miner limit is 0.4 apparently that also means you cant mine in 0.4 >,>

Also how much damage was done lord ? And did you end up getting webbed or slowed at all ?

None, and no. I warped to 100km out of paranoia. At that range your turrets were unable to hit my frigate.

We regularly make and change plans. What was the problem with the POS take 2?
