Very nice.

1am GMT

It might be possible for me to be on at your time. I'll see what I can do. No promises. Also...remember that I'm not in Magma Forge. I'll be able to help with hauling and/or defense, but I won't be able to anchor anything for the corp.

Probably no benefit to mining in .4 rather than .3. People will be able to attack with capitals either way, and it's likely that there are more valuable materials in lower security systems.
Just saying, maybe the EVE wiki is outdated in its information, but I believe you can only place a PoS for moon mining in 0.3 or lower sec.

(Unless you were comparing asteroid mining in 0.4 to asteroid mining in 0.3, in which case disregard this post)

EDIT: You guys should also be careful about setting the PoS guns up. I know you can set guns to not attack people who have a certain standing with the alliance/corp, but it's sometimes wonky, and the wiki notes that sometimes guns that seemed to have been set up perfectly fine have popped allied ships.

Nope on the moon mining array it says restricted to 0.4 and below

Also thanks for the heads up on the guns I will try and make sure I don't pop any of us :P

I see a lot of redacted posts. Please send a corp mail ingame about what I missed, otherwise I can't really help with anything :P

Please be advised that other corps may attack your POS for any valuable moon minerals you may be mining, in fact its very likely if you have poor defenses.

Also!

Some militia corps will actually get people from other friendly militia corps to help hit neutral .4 or lower POSs, if they feel they don't have the numbers for it, just like any other alliance.

Make sure you can withstand a siege, and don't keep anything too valuable in the POS itself beside what is necessary.
If it goes into reinforced mode, be ready to pop back to the POS once it comes out.

-Edit-

Similar scenario happened that i was involved in, dont want to say how i was involved  ;D  but thought i would at least give you guys a heads up about it.

Wulfie, may I suggest we setup the PoS on a Saturday? We'll have more manpower on a weekend usually. Unless, of course, you're working yourself this weekend...

And yes, siegers are my greatest concern. If this venture was as profitable, we would've seen many more similar operations. The fact that we don't makes me think people are aware the risk of being siege being too high.

We are in the middle of no where though and we have no enemies so I don't think someone is going to be cutting about in a dread just to pop some random PoS's to much money to be just messing about in.

Also there are a few other PoS in that region and they seem to be doing fine.. I suppose we will think about that when we get there :P

Also with the money we make as a corp from the moon mining we could always look at moving into a low sec as a main base close to our mining operations and take that system. Also someone should consider skilling for dreadnaughts from the money we earn we can buy one as a corp to keep our interests safe and secure.

One capital ship keeps nothing safe and secure. If someone sees a cap in the PoS it WILL be sieged.

I don't have internet at home, as we are changing our ISP and it all takes longer than it should. So the earliest I will be on again is on the 15th.
