I'll be able to fit T2 Armor by Friday, and then it's only a week or so training to get into a Megathron. I'll even have the isk (give or take 20 mil or so) to buy and fit one. Would that be acceptable for incursions?

I can do Guardian or Legion, if it turns out we have enough Logi. Still need a loan for the Guardian, but the Legion's pretty much fit already.

I am not sure. I really really want to error on the side of heavy heavy tanks. I'd want everyone to build their ships up in EFT and report their effective armor HP, resists, and sig ratius. I would hope we can get the tank heavy enough to survive.

I'll add you to the list above.

I think logi's are our biggest constant. I would prefer to start with 3 and just take longer. You can logi armor right?

I can pledge 200m in loans, but only if we have a clear budget and full fleet.

Edit:

It looks like we can do this site http://incursionguide.wordpress.com/2011/03/19/nation-commander-outpost/ if we are BC/T2 cruiser heavy or this site http://incursionguide.wordpress.com/2011/03/19/nation-mining-colony/ if we are BS heavy.

So with a fit of
Spoiler: Armor Mega (click to show/hide)
I get just shy of 93k EHP and 380 DPS (with current support skills, I'll be training these up). With all level 5 skills, it gets 100k EHP and 660 DPS. Only problem is, the cap will only last a minute and a half with my skills, 2 minutes at max skills. Am I going to have to cap chain to another BS, or is this fit just not viable?

Check your cap again with just your tank on or just your guns on. If you are being targeted you can always turn your guns off if it comes to that. Plus logi's can transfer cap as well. I know cap chains happen all the time, so some ships aren't cap stable and that is okay.

What are your resists? If you have one more than 5% below the others, it might be better to jam a specific hardener in instead the nano.

I don't see any reason that fit can't work... You might even be a bit over-tanked. Are those the long range versions of hybrids? If so, I'd want to swap them out for the short range/high speed, at least for assault sites.

Armor bots are probably not recommended, better just to keep even more damage drones (Probably hobgoblins for us, since assaults have lots of frigs). In shield fleets they are nice since no one remote reps. In armor fleets I don't think they are really required.

Oh, derp. I removed the cap transfer high slot and I'm stable at 39%. That's probably it.

As for resists, I'm sitting at 71.9/71.4/71.7/74.8 (EM/Therm/Kin/Exp)

Neutrons are the highest damage, highest range, lowest tracking, most demanding to fit blaster. They're what you want for incursions 90% of the time. Sitting at 5.1 km optimal + 17 km falloff with my current fit, which is decent at least. The webifier will make it a lot easier to hit them at least. The only concern I have is that I'll be slow as shit with my 101 m/s top speed.

The only reason I put in armor maintenance bots is to ease to load on the logi between sites. They're probably not needed, so I could always just swap em out for more hobgobs. With the extra dps from the hob II's, I'm up to 453 DPS. That's semi-respectable at least.

Yeah, I can Logi for armour. I even have a Guardian now, I just can't afford the fit.

The large tower is a must, anything less is inviting problems.

This isn't quite accurate. A large tower in C1 space is very nearly a waste - it's got more PG/CPU than you'll ever really need even to defend against an eviction. Not many people will do an eviction on a system you can't get capital ships into, since even small POSes, when stronted, make it a long two-day grind. A small POS in C5 space, for example, will be just a pinata for people with the caps and inclination to reinforce it, but a medium in C1 space is more than enough.

Also, I really suggest you guys move to a C2 ASAP. The income is slightly better, but with the guarantee of a k-space static and w-space static so it's easier to go exploring. I'd hunt for one with a highsec/C3 combo - wormhol.es is great for wormhole intel like that.

Re: Incursions:

The links you posted about the sites are from 2011, and they have been changed since.
The mining colony has the highest damage potential of them all in the beginning. (a spawn of 5 romis, worse if it is preloaded, what some ppl do in the hopes that someone dies there). Even in the nation commander outpost you need to kill some cruisers now. DO NOT rely on those links. Also, the nation mining colony spawns a can at the end and you will have to drop some ore. It is called Lyavite and is needed in stacks of 255 units. One stack for each mining colony. So you have to buy it on contracts first, or mine in the site.

I already told you, i can fly any armor dps, i'd probably just change a fleet tempest from shield to armor though. I am perfectly fine with being FC in vanguard incursion sites.
But just so you know: it is really hard to maintain a corp fleet. Even my alliance (around 150 pilots) was not able to run anywhere near constantly for even an evening. I'd like to try it (and i would still prefer shield, 380 gun dps in a blaster bs is...sad) though. You can do 100mil/hour+ with vanguard sites, but you need shiny ships.

I'll be back ingame next weekend.

Count me in as a future Basi pilot. Due to the necessity to train a large number of skills, I will be ready by end of June. I will be using this fit:

Talked to Pier, and decided that we arn't ready for a POS. I managed to tear it all down, and haul it all to Jita. Only things left behind were the Imicus, Kaye's magnate, a day of fuel, and two hours of stront.

After work I will sell the rest of the modules and reimburse the people who donated to me.

Did you keep someone in the WH?

Because even if you don't do anything there, an empty C1 can probably be sold for a reasonable amount.

Erisu: train the basi skills, but that fit might be outdated. For Vanguards it is way overtanked. It is very important that you train multitasking to 3 though, so you can lock 10 persons. Basi works with logistics 4, if you get two cap transfers. With logistics 5 it only needs one, which makes it easier to use with a scimi.
