So far we have scanned all of our normal systems, and come up with about five wormholes. None of them are an option for us, they are either occupied, way to high for us, or just go to high sec.

I am branching out to other systems, working my way around.

For what kind of WH are you looking anyway?
C3?
A static high is not necessarily bad, iirc the K162 will only be created once you warp to the WH, so if you want to keep for yourself in your WH, just don't warp to any scanned out WHs. Doesn't work when you want to try to go fr other WHs, of course, but if there is only one, you know that it is the exit anyway.
Static high makes logistics way easier though.
If you only scan in highsec, it will be very difficult to find systems with a static low. Most of the K162s to C1 or C2s you find will be the static exits.
There are not a lot of free c1-3 WHs anyway. I you find one with only offline PoSes you are really lucky.

Will we have some fleet action during the Easter long weekend? :)

That's a really good idea, I'd enjoy taking part in something over the weekend :)

Sorry for the ugly link, not sure how to add that text bit.

Anyway, this is the planned PoS so far, its a rough draft of sorts, so any feedback is welcome.

Keep in mind, the hardeners are meant to be kept offline until we are attacked.

Tweaked it some by turning off guns and 1 of each ECM module until you were in the green PG/CPU wise. Changed setup is here.

Whatever you do, don't simply stick your guns in a square array at each axis of your POS, this makes them extremely easy to blow up. Scatter the guns in small groups or single emplacements around the periphery of your force field - try to cover as many angles as possible. Once you get attacked, offline unnecessary stuff like the production arrays and online the guns.

what we need is a bay12 alliance. We can take on the goons, we're better! We have dwarf fortress!
There are not a lot of free c1-3 WHs anyway. I you find one with only offline PoSes you are really lucky.

You guys are more than free to contact Tsalaroth or Elroy Skimms and get more details about the alliance I am in. If you join the OI Chat channel you can talk with both of them if they're online.

OI does have a C2 wormhole that we recently moved out of except for a few folks who elected to stay behind. If y'all join the alliance, I'm sure that they won't be against you guys anchoring your own POS there.

We had a fairly successful mining run last night, only about 2 hours but decent profit overall.

Aye, it was quite fun for everyeone to just chill out as we demolished one of Misha's belts, chatting about random stuff in Fleet. Hopefully we can arrange more ops over the weekend :)

I may be reading this wrong, but you'll want to remove those modules that are for moon mining. You can't do moon mining in WH space, so they'll just be taking up extra CPU and PG.

None of those modules are related to moon mining... which were you talking about?

Once again, I demonstrate my inexperience with this game. Figures. I was under the impression that the polymer reaction array was for this, because of the <0.4 business (Moon mining can only be done in 0.3 and under sec), but I fear I was incorrect. My mistake.

They are for gas reactions.

The ones who want to live in the WH decided that we are going to start easy. I purchased everything needed yesterday from my own wallet, with two donations coming from Smooth and Pierre. The entire pos is now sitting in Misha waiting for us to find it a home.

The pos is now currently just the tower, corp storage, ship storage, and defenses. Bares bones and basic. If we decide to, we will later add on things, more then likely adding on the refinery first for our miners, and then move on from there.

Oh, also purchased enough fuel for one week, and enough stront to fill the bay.

It was quite chilled last night, just mining and chatting. Did anyone have any plans for being online over the weekend or is everyone busy with family affairs during passover?

I'll be on a fair bit I imagine, and will be up for just about any sort of fleet op. If you have something specific in mind, just post here as it may help us organise attendance :)

to change my trucks oil.

What ancient technology do you speak of? I thought all trucks used warp engines.
