I have gained control of CEO ship of Hidden Fun Stuff and I am in Ordion with the ARMOK guys.

Which corporation do we want to use? I don't want CEO ship of either so if we decide to use HFS I'll give someone else that job.

HFS had some money left over. I think the only fair thing to do is to put that money into the master wallet of whatever corp we want to belong to.
I have a character which isn't in ARMOK. If you like I could hold the old corporation for safekeeping with that character.

That's always a good idea, if you don't mind having your alt sit as a babysitter in HFS. No reason to burn bridges :)

you can understand people being a bit skeptical of someone joining
out of nowhere and claiming they are a game dev. But yeah, a bit of hilarity ensued I guess.

Contrary to popular rumor, devs are people too. While we're at it, Mila Kunis used to play WoW, I once ran into Kirstie Alley at Ren Faire and Dolly Parton has a rather entertaining story about participating in a Dolly Parton lookalike contest and losing.

Most people will have to leave Armok when the PoS goes up anyway. If we wanted to switch, that would be a convenient time to do it.

Of course devs are people too. But I wouldn't put it past some people to go and fake being someone just for gain.

Precisely. I'm sure there would have been a similar amount of skepticism if someone had popped in and claimed to be Harrison Ford or Notch. Certainly they're people but you don't expect them to just show up.

Something unexplainable happened.

I (Erisu) logged in today and found out that I was missing 80mil ISK worth of ores and minerals in my personal corporate bin. No trace of refining, the bin was literally empty. Everyone's ore bin was also empty, although I am not sure if they were empty to begin it or they also got emptied like mine. I am wondering if anyone knows about this?

buri it should be a logged security container you can check the logs to see who has been stealing... unless your putting it in another place ? in the ores and bars bin container there should be quite a lot of security logged containers

this is not good people is someone has been stealing from the corp it is only going to cause tension. If someone has been stealing i say we should kick them we don't need this internal tension

Or people can just store the shit they don't want stolen in their personal hangars rather than the corp one.

that as well, but Cern refines stuff on request and then he is gonna need access then, I dont really use corp hanger unless I'm giving stuff for everyone.

While you are right there has to still be trust is people are storing stuff there to be tidy ect....

Security containers can be password locked, but iirc they're a bit small for ore storage.

I tried looking it up, but it seems there's no way to check the logs of who took what out and put what in, which is frustrating. I have no idea how to secure the containers, except to put a password on them, but then Mostyn would have to have all our passwords and it'd be a huge hassle for him if he needed to refine.

Try using audit log containers.

No dice :/

They only show what's put into them, not what's taken out, if the wiki is to be believed.
