Alright, redownloading the bloody game and I'm going to try and not smash my head against the wall as I slowly get through the character creator.

Can't get on EVE this morning for some reason. Launcher says it can't connect and if I just launch the game it says Incompatable Protocol.

I was getting a LOT of delay in things loading last night and it finally kicked me off and I went to bed.

Yeah, there's an issue with something or other, I don't really know. The fix is really easy though, just do what this says: http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Error_IncompatibleProtocol_After_Trinity_1.0.2

I get an error about exefile.exe whenever I try to run the launcher.
What do?

Character Creator didn't lag and I got into the game. I'm really enjoying this.

That fixed it, thanks.

Oh by the way I paid for a office and made it HQ in what seems like a good sector

It's in 0.6 sec so we can have a PoS there

It's 3 jumps away from the main Amarr trade hub

It's 1 jump away from 0.5 set with lots of kernite which sells for 250 a pop

And it's also very close to null and other low sector places whole also on the flip side quite close to high sector ones as well.

For the finale it's only 500,000 a month!!

Also for the PoS I don't mind paying towards it

And I hope everyone is ok with the office if not no biggie I paid for it and we can just move it.

EDIT:
Bahromab. I live in Arbaz, just a few jumps away. If anyone's planning on using the Bahromab office as a base rather than Ordion, I'm in the area.

So, I've gone ahead and opened a second office in Misha and made that the HQ, because it's only one jump away from Ordion where most of us are located. The rent's 10m a month, but that's better than 30m in Ordion.

Mostyn wanted me to mention that he'll refine the ore of anyone who puts it into the ore bay of the Misha office, so long as you send a mail to the corp noting what's yours. The resulting minerals will be put into the general corp storage and a mail will get sent telling you how much is yours. This is on a semi-honor system, so please be honest about what you give/take, though I honestly doubt that this will be a problem in any way. You can also put ore in there to be sold to donate to the funding of the PoS.

A large POS tower (Which I assume is what the corp needs?) costs over 300mill.

Small control towers are ~80 million. That might be sufficient for a corporation with < 20 members.

First: Small towers are no. They're are only good for use as temporary staging, they don't have enough go-juice to run much more than a single SMA/CHA pair and a few ECM mods/shield hardeners. Being in hisec will not protect it, either, as someone will probably wardec you and blow it to smithereens.

A medium POS is a good choice for a newish corp, though.

Second: Scout ALL the moons. A POS must be anchored on a moon and if all the moons are full...oh well.

Third: Even then, a POS < Station for basing out of. Most hisec POSes are R&D or Industrial production not someone's home (except maybe for the poor mook who runs fuel blocks out every week). Stations have far better security and storage space than a POS does.

Finally: I will give you guys some seed money once income starts coming in from cap escalations in Nexus.

Woah! $99.99 for 6 plex? That's... like... 31.8 million ISK per dollar.

Don't bother with the 'special' catalyst though. It is no different from a normal catalyst aside from paint job.
