If want to mine you go in mining barges.
If want to do some ratting you do cruiser/battlecruisers.
Destroyers are pretty much frig killers nothing else.
It takes several months to be efficient skill wise in dealing good DPS.
Are you still on trial or...?

The best tip i can offer is Specialize and plan from now. Pick a career. Stick at it for 6 months training towards improving it. This is the best advice I can offer. As it will make you more recruitable to high quality corporations and your isk income will be much better. Then once you have that role done efficiently. Move onto what you want to try next.

Well what I'm wondering is why more people don't station trade. I just keep turning ISK over in the markets making sure I have as much put into it as possible and out pops more isk. Probably been online a total of an hour today, or atleast paying attention to EVE, and I've made about a 50% profit on my ISK today, and thats been while fighting with people attempting market manipulation (someone dumped like 3 mil units something about 5 isk above what the buy orders were on one item) Tho I profitted greatly from that as I bought like 1/4th his stock and waited for the market to return to normal

Yup, playing the market is the best way to make money (surprise surprise)

I made about 700mio ISK before i got bored... just sitting in an inactive account.

I did have some fun trade wars, where we lowered the price of tritanium systemwide by about 2 ISK

Logged on today to find that about 60m worth of sell orders had disappeared from the market. With no additional ISK in my wallet (and no transactions or journal entries about orders cancelled or units bought) and no items in my item hangar save for what I had put buy orders in for last night. Wut happened?

When you have the skills, you can make a lot of ISK with Incursions, though not quite as much as you could before the last nerf.
