your race doesnt really mean much actually. Its just your avatar and your starting location and a smattering of starting skills to fly the little ship they give you.

Any race can fly any ship with the proper training, no restrictions.

I've always had good luck with drones and railguns when using Gallente characters. Assuming you have the speed, you can keep a nice distance between yourself and enemies.

I do have to admit back when I played I loved using drones. Skeet skeet!

Well, I helped found a new corporation, Krypteia Operations. They're going to be focusing on manufacturing and it seems pretty cool.

Also, anyone who's playing add me as a contact in-game, name's Fintarius.

Go fly a blasterboat Talos or Brutix in PVP and then tell me you're not sure that the Gallente are good at anything.

What saddens me in EVE station-trading is competing with marketbots - which I always seem to lose. It is just SO annoying to change your order to be on top (and the position is not even popular!) and a minute later find that it fell to 5-7 positions lower - when every order higher is 5-10 seconds after each other.

There was a contract trading thing where I earned some good isk before. But it got nerfed to the ground by CCP when they decided to push all faction and deadspace stuff to market - where bots happily enjoyed expanding their niche.

Well, they're good at what they've always been good at. Capital Ships. They don't get really good PVP ships until you get to the Capital Ships skill, Where 50% of titans are Erebus' 48% are Avatars and the remaining 2 percent are spread about Minmatar and Caldari. Same spread for Supercarriers, and Carriers. Of dreadnaughts nowadays because Dreads are fairly quick to train for, you'll mostly likely see Moros' more oft than not, given that they do about double the damage of any other dreadnaught at perfect skills. and supposedly PL essentially makes you reprocess your super and train for Gallente or Amarr if you want to fly supers for them with them anymore that's how ridiculous the imbalance is for them.

Also before any of you capital hungry pilots start training for Caldari Caps, let me roll out something fairly basic for you. The only good Caldari Capital Ships are the Freighter and Jump Freighter. A Thanatos will always be preferred to a Chimera for Shield Logistics. Same for a Nyx to a Wyvern. The reason behind this is that the Chimera and Wyvern have gimped tanking and rep potential. They just don't have the capacitor and powergrid to fit an active local tank(which oddly is what you do on a carrier because of how triage mechanics work) and still maintain reps. The Nidhoggur and the Hel. However they have a slight bonus to their repping which gives them a bigger niche to fill than the Chimera and Wyvern, which basically fill the niche of "Well I got it really cheap, now to reprocess it and train for a Thanatos." Seriously the Caldari Capitals suck that bad but their Freighters are the best in the game. 3 freight containers means you get roughly 1/3 more space in your jump freighter cargohold than any other Freighter

Also to note, unlike prior iterations of ships, where Minmatar and Caldari were shield logistics and Amarr and Gallente were armor, Capital Ships work like this, for carriers at least, Minmatar and Gallente multitask armor and shields, Amarr and Caldari specialize in either armor or shields. The fact that the Thanatos can do both, combined with the fact that it's got a massive damage bonus to fighters means that you are basically forced to get into one if you want to compete.

Also as a bonus for all you fun mentalgen, this was my morning today.

Note how we(speaking of my alliance and coalition Nulli and the So-Co.) are outnumbered nearly 2 to 1, also note that the -A- coward fit Tengu's left about 30 minutes in because they didn't want to lose any more Tengu's. They care only for efficiency and not how to have fun play EVE Online.

That's not me self destructing by the way. Also I'm in the red blob in this image. Because none of our elitepvp smug bastards thought to take nice epic screenshots like this.

Also total in local was 1978 people near the end. We had more people there than Jita has on at a time during a busy day. Ti-Di was at 10% the entire fight. Occasionally the ti-di went to a blazing 12%, generally just after our bomber wings killed like 30-40 testies in a single wave. This is what I now play EVE Online for. I think I'm going to get on tonight and see if there's going to be a destroyer or frig fleet running and get in on some lulztastic kills.

Also to further inflate this post, I have been admiring the enemies propaganda department lately. Seriously they have some genuinely good stuff.

Links incoming,
Fun song good pacing to the video really emphasizes how pretty EVE is at times.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToNHzIH3RT0&feature=channel&list=UL
Completely miss tells it, but still nice pacing and good music. DurrHurrDurr one of the officers of TEST has freely admitted on Kugu that they came to Delve to burn it to the ground and remake it as, oh god I'm trying to think of how DurrHurrDurr worded it now and the post was quickly edited, something like "Remake delve as the dilapidated bloody cigarette lighter burned ball sack of the new TEST empire with which to hold more delicious TESTicles." and not for good fights. Also, those aren't exactly his words, but I have a feeling that's close to how DurrHurrDurr would word it. He kinda has a way with words like that.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNn3GDBLyFc&feature=channel&list=UL
Really incongruous when they are talking about TEST for most of the song and then switch to talking about Nulli for the chorus. But anyway,

Razor makes the best propaganda in the game, seriously, give it a watch, it's fucking quality shit

EDIT:Just realized I forgot to link Razor's actual propaganda site,

An update for those of you who don't know... nullsec has gone completely nuts.

Delve was / is a bust. AAA basically abandoned it planning to "take it back later". This is a strategy that could actually work, the CFC not being known for their long attention spans, but this isn't earning them any friends.

Meanwhile, the NC. / SOLAR war in the east is proving to be much more entertaining, with a scrap between smaller alliances also happening in the drone regions (nicknamed the "shortbus special" on the Kugutsmen forums). This is essentially a proxy war between the SOLAR allied Intrepid Crossing, Ethereal Dawn and Persona Non Gratis, and the sort-of-but-not-really NC. allied Soldiers of New Eve, Broken Toys, Dark Phoenix Rising and Band 0f Brothers. This has been fairly one-sided (in the SOLAR allies favor), but with some good fights here and there.

If you're not in nullsec yet, now is the perfect time to join in the fun. If anyone wants in on the shortbus special, I can definitely hook people / corps up with a corp / alliance if they so wish. I'm with Intrepid Crossing and we're essentially carebears with guns. We're not looking for serious business PVP pros, just anyone who can survive and scrape a living in nullsec. This isn't hard, as our systems have some of the best bounties and ores in the game.

If your corp isn't big enough for full membership, or you don't fancy dirtying yourself with the whole "fighting" thing, we also have a lot of systems currently available for rent. If you go via this route you'd be part of the IRC provisional alliance rather than the alliance proper. You would not be required to turn up to CTAs or deployments (wusses), and in return you would pay a monthly rent. Rent amount is dependant on the system you're interested in from under 200M for a low-end system to 1B+ for a really good one. For an active corp this is considerably more profitable than mining and missioning in highsec. This would be a great way to kick-start your corp and get yourself out of the cesspit that is highsec.

Damn, I'm giving the spambots a run for their money here.

Not really we all pretty much split off to different places. I think Kristof and his brother are the only ones in Hidden Fun Stuff at the moment.
