Personally, I had fun just doing high-sec space trucking for a while; got a Fenrir and spent time doing L4 hauling missions in a big loop.

Gah... this is the only game with a monthly subscription I've ever seriously considered (other than LOVE, but that was on a $30/180day system).
I really wish I had the spare money to be throwing around, or that a self-sustaining account was easy.

I allways ended up being in corp of older characters vs my 3 month played one.
Fun for few days but later on find out that gap of my skill tree is keeping me off of the fun stuff
Love the game but dont wanna spend 15e for nothing.

I got Minmatar, allmost maxed out Rifter pilot and can do mining barges.

I'd reccomend joining EVE University, and skilling up a bit. They can teach you the basics very well.

Well, Jita is on fire by the Clusterfuck's hand, and it's pretty damn hilarious. We had The Mittani on Mumble the other night, telling us all about how this is going to pan out. So far, we've got about 80-90 billion ISK in kills just for TEST Alliance, not even including Goonswarm. Jita is completely maxed out and is at near maximum Time Dilation. YOu literally cannot jump into Jita at the moment. The stargates are denying entry nto the system due to overpopulation

There was a Nyx in Jita. In JITA. Sadly, it turns out in order to gank the thing, we'd need more people than the node could actually support

How did it get there? Building a mothership requires a POS with a capital ship construction array or whatever its called, and you can't anchor those in hisec, nor can you jump a nyx into hisec.

If you log out a character in space, they will be moved to their clone station after 90 (or something like that) days of account suspension, from what I gather. Apparently this can be used to get caps into high-sec.

yeah, but how long does it take to do that? 3 month for that...

And? Some skills in this game take 3 months or more to learn. That is 3 months to wait and then you have a capital ship in newbie space. Forever.
