The ones who pop you upon sight in their oversize ships and inflated egos just don't know how to pirate properly. They won't be able to sustain their PVP ways in one of the most PVP oriented games around for very long if they keep that up :P.

It did seem odd to me that he said they were all in battlecruisers, but I just thought maybe the game had changed a bit over the years. Personally, the vast majority of pirates I've met have all been in frigates.

Can't really gate camp in a frig though. I thought the gate guns did enough damage that you couldn't camp in a BC either... but it looks like I was wrong.

I spent most of my time in low sec. I never got attacked unless it was a gate camp.

I haven't seen anyone from B12 online on Eve in quite a few days. Do I simply have bad timing, or has interest in Eve bled out?

I've been working on my EU3 project, but I'm not in the corp, so I don't know.

But haven't been in the chat for above reason though.

I think interest has started to fade. I see people on from time to time but then I have been playing a lot of Starcraft 2.

I don't know if anyone has ideas for keeping people interested.

I typically do not play on the weekends at all. And I rarely play during the week.

If we want to get some interest going though I'll say again that we need some events sorted out. We need to get some Mining Ops and some PvP frigate tournaments going on. Maybe some PvP practice ops in ARS if we can get some more alts in there.

The big thing with Eve is that everyone is going to do their own thing, until there is something to do together. I don't know abotu everyone else but I can only really enjoy Eve if I have people to play with/talk to. Solo stuff isn't really that fun to me (though I appreciate being able to do my own thing).

Anyone have any ideas for group operations we could do? How about a rough estimate when everyone will be available to join in on an event as well?

I've been on now and then and havne't seen anyone else. My sub does run out tomorrow, though, so...my interest hasn't waned, but my ability to access it has.

Anyone have any ideas for group operations we could do?

We had no shortage of ideas, only organization. The corp announcements page had posts about group mining ops, touranaments, pvp practice sessions and so forth for weeks, but none of these were ever scheduled and the only group activties I've seen have been when a few people happen to be on and somebody says "Hey, let's do x!"

If you want a group operation then get someone to play coordinator who'll pick a day and time and post it to the bulletins and send out a mass email with details. When event time is imminent, they then start mentioning it in chat, pointing out that "hey, there's an event in case anyone missed the notice." The first few times, few people will show up. But after a routine has been established, and word gets out in the form of people talking during off-hours about scheduled events that they previously attended, more people will realize that this is something that's really happening and thus make an effort to attend.

My interest hasn't waned.  I'm still logging in daily, and playing for large chunks of the weekend.  But I don't know if my playtime and/or goals are really conducive to fleet activities...

Right now I'm logging in for a couple hours most week nights, from about 7:00 PM EST to roughly 9:00 PM EST.

The weekends are less predictable.  I play for most of the weekend...  But I'm also cleaning up around the house, running errands, taking care of pets, and whatever else might pop up.  So I can't say for certain exactly when I'll be on-line or for how long I'll be on in one sitting.

I'm out around Rens right now, running L4 missions.  I certainly wouldn't mind some company on the missions.  It's taking me roughly an hour to run and salvage a single mission...  More people (either shooting or looting) would speed that up.  But, if I recall correctly, folks are generally out around Amarr space - which makes for a long trip out to Rens.

And then there's the pager I have to carry...  Which makes it hard to commit to anything major.  Simple missions are fine, because I can pretty much always warp off and log out if I need to.  But fleet operations get more complicated - especially if people are relying on me, or if we're out in hostile territory.

So, I'm still playing...  But I'm not being terribly social.  Which is why I'm still in the NPC corporation.

Hi all,

It seems that there's still a collection of brave souls who are still interested in the game :) Although I am in another active corp, provided activities don't conflict with planned (or unplanned, but necessary) corp activities, then I'm very interested in joining in with all the other B12 players. The same is true in reverse, too. That is, as long as it's not conflicting with your interests, if my corp's just doing something casual or I'm soloing some missions, I'm always happy to invite anyone from B12 along to fly with us.

I'd flown regularly with Regi, and I believe he'd run some missions with some of the other corp members when I wasn't available to join them. I had agreed to invite him (and anyone else who was interested) along on WH raids. However, the last few we've raided, no one from B12 has been around to invite unfortunately :(

So, if things do pick up within the B12 corps again, and there are any events planned (regular or otherwise), and it's not corp specific, then by all means shoot me an eve-mail and I'll do my best to attend. If you specifically need some heads to fill up an operation, I may be able to bring along some corp mates, too :)

Finally, in response to LordBucket's comment about the 21 day free trial running out: We run a scheme in our corp, where we pool some ISK between us to buy a single PLEX for the 'corp'. If there's a friend of one of the corp members who's interested in Eve, we get that person to join using the buddy program, which gives them the slightly better than basic '21 day free trial'.

We then give that person the corp PLEX, which they use to subscribe to the game, this adds 30 days to their trial time (it doesn't end the trial time, so if they use it on the first day, they now have 51 days play time :)) and removes all trial restrictions.

Finally, because they're part of the buddy program and they've subscribed, the corp member who invited them gets a choice of a PLEX or 30 days additional game time. They select the PLEX, and give it back to the corp. The net result is that we loose nothing, but the new player gets 51 days to get a feel for the game and see if they want to continue playing or not :)

Perhaps the B12 corps might want to introduce a similar scheme for anyone else who wants to join, from the forums?

I would be happy to join using this trial/Plex deal. Actually, how much is Plex going for right now? I think I have an inactive char with plenty of ISK. If I get a PLEX code from someone I would be able to return a new code back to them for another to use. Let me check into this.

EDIT: My inactive char, according to an email from CCP, has/had 1.7B ISK as of a few months ago. If anyone could send me a PLEX code I will return another one plus half the cost of a new one in ISK(assuming PLEX is going for less than 900m).

DOUBLE EDIT: Nevermind, took care of it with the 4 hour pass.
