Considering resubbbing once I get some money, how is the B12 corp going? To we have control over any systems?

No control over any systems, and I doubt we ever will. The corp is going fine but we are still in the very early stages of building up. We don't have any straight forward money makers yet.

our first battle clinic

...I take it by "clinic" you mean some sort of pvp training tutorial? There's a bulletin mentioning a t1 frigate tournament.

I was thinking something more casual. For example, we get in vent, duel, and people can concede at any time. It's likely that few duels will be close, and there's not much point blowing up a ship when it's perfectly obviously who's going to win.

According to a quick google search, corp mates can now fire on each other without concord intervening. Can anyone confirm? I've seen battlecruisers lost because of that.

Oh are you lot Amarr? I'll go as them then!

Most of us are Amarr, but we do have some Gallente folks in here too. *raises hand*

I'm currently flying a range-fitted Thorax. It's very nice and does good damage.

A couple of us did a little in a worm hole yesterday. It was more predictable than I imagined. We decided not to complete it as our ship load outs were ill-suited and it was a little too tough in our cruisers. Soon I'll head back in my battleship and give it another shot.

I think WH are less suited for smaller ships since the AI will change target. They might work with some high speed frigates, but I think we would lose a couple.

Zeb, a number of us received an email regarding a "corp direction" vote, but the vote is not available to us on the corp screen. Personally, I never saw the alleged vote for raising the tax rate either. I've looked around...I see bulletins, a proposed tournament, etc. but no voting of any kind. Where is it? Or is it restricted access?

Also, I submit option 7: factional warfare. That would give us regular pvp, while allowing us to stay in highsec with access to regular agents, and also stay in a corp together.

That's 'cuz of my bad there, bucket, but it should be fixed now for everyone who hasn't been idle or has a name that I can't spell properly. (I'm looking at you, x-2-whatever-you-are)

Heh, my name on EVE is the same as on here, so you can just fix it that way.

You'll find that NPC rats are fairly predictable in general - doesn't much matter if it's in a mission, a wormhole, an incursion, or what.

Proper preparation are essential for wormholes.  You need to make sure you've got an exit.  You need to make sure you can deal with whatever special effects are present.  You need to check out the site before committing major resources to it, to make sure you aren't just going to die.

Some of the best fun I had in a WH was going hunting in a very small fleet, with all of us in rifters.  We were getting in close and orbiting with afterburners, so the sleepers were having a hell of a time hitting us with anything.  Then just hammering away with whatever weapons we had.  It was very intense.  Webbers were a top priority, and we almost lost a ship when a spider drone lived long enough to get a web on him...  But it was a hell of a lot of fun.

You can find voting options under Corporations (button) > Politics (tab) > Votes (Sub-tab)

Personally I find several of these sound great. Though I am completely against option one purely for the fact it seems like it'll cheapen the people actually in HFS and make ash rose a kind of 'elite' version of HFS. I'm also against the final option, low sec pets, since we'd basically lose our choice in doing stuff. It'd not even feel like bay 12 then, it'd just be a bunch of indentured servants....

The factional warfare sounds fun, but doesn't that cause reputation hits with the other empires? I'm not sure how I feel about locking myself out of half the universe, though it could definitely be fun...

Honestly I'm for the care-bear and Low-sec badass options. Though I'd love to do wormholes with everyone, I doubt I'd enjoy living inside of one... Doesn't really give me much of an ability to solo, which is something I like to do when no one else is on.

I can't see the options, obviously, but I am against faction warefare. Which side would be on anyways? If it isn't Amarr, I couldn't participate.

Living in a WH would be tough, just because you can't really do much of anything without probes.

What ever option you guys pick, remember it is going to take some time to build up to that option. A couple of weeks just to get skills in the right spot.

EDIT: On the subject of WH in rifters... if two sentry guns are 30 KM apart and you are orbiting one, won't the other be able to land a pretty good shot on you?

It certainly seems that way. It's important to remember that the sleeper Perimiter site we started on the other day was only one of six in that wormhole. Others may well have had very different makeups...

This is why it is very important to scout ahead.

Warp in blindly and you're liable to get swarmed and scrambled before you can do anything, and then you're just waiting for your ship to pop.

We were aiming for midrange ships - cruiser sized things - big enough to have trouble hitting fast-moving frigates, small enough that we could whittle them down.  We were avoiding sites with lots of drones, or turrets, or frigates - because they could actually hit us.  And we were avoiding sites with lots of battleships, because we couldn't take them down - although they couldn't really kill us, either.
