If you ever want to run more wormholes, have a look at this site. it lists everything you need to know about every kind of site in W-space; what sleepers you meet, which one is the trigger, examples of fleet composition and so on.

It also has a mission section for those that run them, but I don't know much about it.

I used that site, had it open when we were doing our WH.

The problem I see with any small fleet (frigate) operations in WH is that many of the larger ships orbit far enough away that they will be able to snipe you while you orbit a target, so even if your target cruiser can't do any damange to you, his buddy 45km away sure can.

Anyways, something to keep in mind. We will go back, but it will be dangerous for frigates.

If we can establish some skype connectetions you'll be able to get me to come on my Amarr alt Silthera in her Omen, she is a skilled miner too, though I own no mining ships as it is.

Feel free to add Hrafnirhamarr and bother me to come online, I often don't log in to check if shit is going down.

Actually, speaking of mining... what is it like in WH space?

Any update on the corporate votes?

Mining in W-space is like mining anywhere else, except that the asteroids are only found at gravimetric sites. There are no fixed asteroid belts. All types of ore can be found in any W-space system, and I think that all grav sites have every type of ore, but I'm not 100% sure. ABC ores are not rare at all, though.

I want to point out that "Feeder corporation" makes the ARS/HFS relationship sound more demeaning than it should. It would really just be an Alliance, with lots of shared resources, just no paper trail. People would be free to move between the corporations and we would still work together. I'd expect ARS to support mining ops and agents missions but when ARS gets in over our heads and gets war declared against us, HFS would be free to go about their business.

I think it is time for ARS to double in size (to TWO members). Who is willing to work towards this medium term:

http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/52348-Vengeance-It-hits-like-a-girl-but-has-the-staying-power-of-an-ex-wife.html

And this short term:

http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/3546-Solo-PvP-Rifter.html

The plan will be to fly out duo in two of the rifters and look for trouble nearby in Domain. Once we get our feet wet with pvp FUN we'll field the vengence and this Retri as our more expensive duo:

http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/6246-Retribution-Retri.html

As a side note, I already have atleast one Vengence in Finid.

I voted for mostly remaining loosely affiliated with each other because I know I'll probably be doing my own thing for awhile.  Two of my brothers play, and I'll tend to do things with them over the corporation, though I'll be glad to lend a hand with other things once I get myself settled.  And really, doing wormholes or being low-sec bad-asses both sound pretty cool.  I'm mostly focusing myself on trade though, after getting basic training in most of the stuff to fly my destroyer well.  I got the core competency basic certificate, just because it seemed properly well-rounded, and didn't take that long given the number of skills it needed.  I'm also training gallente industrial to 5, though it's at 3 right now.  I'll probably work on getting minmatar frigates to at least 3 or whatever it is for rifters, though I don't see why they're better than Tristans, other than that fairly nice speed boost.

Oh yeah, I'm Kristof in game, just so this doesn't look 100% random.

Personally, I'd like to see -HFS- get large enough that we can have different branches of people doing different things.

So interesting note before I leave for work, assuming 10 frigates and 2 destroyers per level 1 mission, and 2 cruisers, 4 destroyers and 15 frigates per level 2 mission. Along with the 4 level 4 missions I've been on. Where I aided in the destruction of roughly 44 frigates, 23 destroyers, 16 cruisers, 11 battlecruisers and 7 battleships as far as I recall. I have done 12 level 1 missions, 5 level 2 missions. If you're wondering where I'm going with this, I'm calculating how many people my character has killed off or aided in killing off not counting rats killed around asteroid fields.

8950, and he's only been a capsule pirate for 8 days.

I imagine at higher levels of play, IE when you legitimately get into a battleship you can afford to maintain, you are technically bordering on genocide.

Got some time, have some fun, http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/New_Eden_crew_guidelines.

It's important to remember that when even extremely small minority populations span multiple planets in multiple solar systems, the dividing line between 'genocide' and 'mass murder' gets pushed upwards a bit.

That said, as someone who's killed more'n 1000 times as many NPC crewmembers, yeah, you're a little evil.

http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/3546-Solo-PvP-Rifter.html

The above quoted battleclinic loadout is extremely easy to skill into as a fresh Minmatar character. I suggest that anyone who is interested in PvP but do not want to commit their actual character into it yet to create a minmatar alt to join ARS with. The corp will still need a couple reliable mains, but a bunch of alts could run a T1 variant of the above loadout with only 10 hours of training total. The T2 variant only takes 10 days as well (8.5 days with an attribute remap before you start any training).

For reference the character I've crunched these numbers on is a (Minmatar > Vherokior > Drifter > Military school) character and will not have to train any skills beyond the core fit skills to be able to put everything on that rifter at T2.

Hopefully we can get a couple people added to ARS to get their feet wet in PvP. Fikes mentioned on vent that even as a T1 version that rifter should still be pretty dangerous, and I wager getting five of the T1s could kick a lot of butt.

The -HFS- direction votes are in, and there's a new corp bulletin up ingame.

FYI.

Someone PM me the results?

Currently Regi and I are out in .4 sec space in our rifters. It looks like a good potential area to set up base. Lots and lots of bets, 2system dead-end, not a whole bunch of hostile activity (It looked like we made it past one gate camp, but they never locked or fired).

Also none of the moons are claimed, so there is a chance for a good POS here.

I let you guys know the system name in game.

Also, as Denzi said, it wouldn't hurt too bad to get an alt trained up to fly the tech 1 version of that Rifter. 4 or 5 ofthose should cause all sorts of problems for enemies and it would be cheap too. My tech 2 version ran about 12 million. I think tech 1 would be under 2 million.
