Ah, the download was faster than expected.
Of course I forgot my passwords, but whatever. As I also forgot my account names I found out, quite by accident, that my very first trial account character didn't biomass. Too bad he is called Gallente Citizen xxx, but whatever. Fun times, having no clue at all and not only mixing long and short range weapons but also weapon types. And loosing a cruiser to a lowsec exploration site from an escalation.

Anyway, I'll have a look ingame.
Rince Aumer (Main)
Ged Arma (Logi-alt)

Ah, ok, it is not only 200mb, now Eve is downloading another 3 gig. I thought something was weird when it all went so quickly. (And I rather have it all downloaded.)

Edit:
As expected, the only skill I can train on my main is mining frigate 2-4. :D
Will have a look at Ged Arma later.

I do have a corp, I am in it alone, so we could use that, if we wanted. (Blue is not an option)
Do we have a dorf-channel?
And can you still download overview configurations? Any suggestions? As this is a different computer I don't have those anymore. And they'd probably be in dire need of updating anyway.

My and a RL friend have been mulling over the game and how to profit.  With a bit of math and some dedication we figure the both of us can push for a Hulk and an Orca and possibly get them by the time first Plex ends, probably buy a second Plex, and the 3rd onward should be able to buy with isk.  The basic idea is 'mine all the ore forever' in high-ish sec.  And even if we can't earn Plex from that, it'll get us a good industry start to produce gear and ships on the cheap and move into other areas more easily.

these plans always fail. not becaue they where impossible, but because they are no fun.
there is some profit in industry. but only the purest excell minds can do JUST industry for long. better do it once you are settled in, on a secondary char - IF you find you have the mind for it.

ig character name: dangkids

I've mostly been flying in and around Dodixie (gallente trade hub) doing station trading, and hauling runs.

Not exactly sure what I want to do really at the moment! Maybe I'll do the sisters of eve epic arc. But I probably should join up with a corp if I'm going to keep my interest up long-term.

Well, I've been getting my bearings. only a few days old at this point. Im in Gallente space mostly doing exploration/mining and a bit of combat when I get bored.

I love poking my head into wormholes and being oppertunistic

Started back up and back to floating around w-space and popping out to loot data and relic sites. Would be interested in doing sleeper sites that kind of stuff, currently located in Thera.

I also have begun drifting around w-space in a little probing frigate.  Last night I shored up about 120mil of loot, only to return to known space and get killed on my first jump back towards civilization.

Ouch.

I haven't lost that much doing exploration yet, but I did lose over 100mil worth of ships once due to piracy as I was transporting them for sale.

I guess I should dust off a Probe and head into some wormhole sometime soon. From what I read it is the pirate sites that one can do in there with a simple probing ship, those must have come after my time. :D

I had my good run that ended badly, but now I can't find anything.  I've gone probing a dozen systems and only found wormholes leading to low-sec.  My first wormhole leading to wormhole space, I got shreked by a guy sitting at the entry.  I've used like my 5th Magnate with no profit now...

I'd suggest basing out of non-FW lowsec.  Maybe it's just because Khanid lowsec is probably one of the lowest pop areas in the game (Though you do see the occasional Pandemic Horde/Darwanism fights), but I don't think I've ever been caught in a hole camp while working out of here.  The negative is you usually have to wait for a favorable hi-sec wormhole to resupply/drop of loot.  But overall the lack of competition makes up for it.

I'm so confused by how frequent people seem to die to holecamps. I've only once been killed by a guy sitting on the wormhole ... Usually I kill or be killed at a site.

edit: Speaking of killing.

I see 10 SOE probes in d-scan so i wait at a sansha relic. An astero warps in so I wait til he gets close to a debris, warp out & uncloak & warp in, tackle, murder. Then later another imicus shows himself so I kill him too, but while i'm killing him an astero decloaks and tackles me. I kill that guy too, and finally a Hound appears and half-heartedly shoots some missiles at me before running away because I was flying straight at him :P

They were all from the same corp. Was quite an enigma.
