Lock target, let missiles fly. ;)

Re:Cloaking: if you put that on an exloration ship you won't be able to do much with it, as it severly reduces your capabilities, iirc (even when off, but I might misremember). Won't matter that much if you have a full account and can use t2 stuff.
You could use a mobile depot to refit on the fly, but that costs a lot of cargo space.

I'd second the note that a cloak is not too necessary for exploration.  Those T2 frigs are maybe 10% more effective at hacking but are 10x the price.   Cloak is really only helpful in W-space, and even then you're still going to want to rely on safespots and being quick on the warp button there too.

Also, if I'm not mistaken Alpha's cannot cloak! Can't train the skill and can't mount the fitting. Would be nice to be stealth though.

I would join a dwarfcorp, if one were available. I play very casually though and have generally little idea what I'm doing.

Alpha cloak would be fun, but perhaps a bit broken...

If you guys are really into it, I'll invest in a corp, but I'm not paid so it might be awkward for a while.

I still have a halftrained toon rotting in a NPC corp on my account.
Would throw him into the dwarfcorp for shits, giggles and glorious explosions.

I have some little experience with pretty much everything, but not actually much with anything.

Girlinhat, if you haven't pulled the trigger on starting a corp, hold off on that for a minute.

I'm willing to take the reins on that, as I have an old toon with some skills already.  I need to thaw him, but that should sort out quickly enough.

Anyone that wants in on this, send me a PM with your in-game name, and what activities you like.

In that case I'd gladly take some type of officer position and help organize.  My username in game should be obvious :P

Okay, pinged you in-game.  Haven't heard from anyone else yet.

My main is in Caldari space right now, but I'm up for resettling more-or-less wherever Caldari or Amarr.  I'll have to check my standings, see if Gallente or Minmatar is possible for me...  I did a lotta lotta missions against them. >_>

My character is GER PANOX following the eve tradition of smashing syllabels together in a vaguely futuristic manner. I have been doing some exploration, trading and scavenging. Not sure when I'll be on next, but hit me up anyway if you'd like.

My main enjoyment in Eve is, oddly, manufacturing. I'd be willing to rejoin as paid to play around with my Industrial character if you guys are interested. She can build...pretty much every T1 item, I think. Certainly all of the smaller ships, weapons, and ammo as well as a fair number of T1 gear.

I'd be happy to help out by building stuff for people at cost. I quit last time because I didn't really have a purpose other than supplying people doing the epic quest out of Arnon.

Been a long time since I played, but I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to get her up and running again. She's set up on the Gallente/Amarr border near Arnon.

I'm in the same boat, I oddly enjoy mining and processing.  It's oddly meditative.  Working on building up a combat ship or two, of course, but it's not my primary gameplay.  I'm more than willing to support others in their combat, however.

Also if anyone hasn't made an account, there are referral links.  It'll boost you with extra skill points (aka, you get free time in your skill tree) and when/if you buy Plex, the referee gets Plex too.  So here's my shameless plug: http://secure.eveonline.com/signup/?invc=c5a7d011-f9e6-4db5-a21f-240d07a48d90&action=buddy  Sadly doesn't work with Steam accounts, so you'll need to make a proper CCP account to use the referral, but there's not much difference really.
