I was thinking of giving this a try. While playing it actively might be something I do from time to time is there stuff I can do where I don't have to be "actively" in the game? I have heard that there are things you can basically AFK at but I just wanted to check ahead of time.

Oh and if I decided to give this a try is there still an extended trial and if so can someone hook me up?
Yeah, you can AFK rat(kill NPC's for cash) and mine fairly well. Also industry is mostly AFK except when you're managing your production lines. Click here for a extended trial. That will also connect you with me in-game and I'll help you out/point you in the right direction.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't they patching in the daily kill-a-npc opportunity for SP today?

They're doing it. Not sure if it's today but it's soon.

They are active as of last downtime (an hour or so ago).

It's almost impossible to not get the bonus. (Probably people who stay docked or freighters can not get the bonus)

17 more days and I can finally pilot an exhumer. Now to save up for it.

That map looks great. I'm glad to be able to say that I was there this time around, and congratulations are in order to The Mittani for being in charge of what is now the largest low-sec alliance in EVE.

Okay I played a bit. Apparently there is apparently a new "tutorial" system called opportunities. It sucks. Also it is apparently now the only way. I honestly tried but they suck. Does anyone know a good series of tutorial videos that are up to date or something else to help?

So it seems I accidentally put my canteen in my wheelbarrow and didn't notice... and then I got really thirsty... so right before going to sleep I go to take a swig from my canteen and... end up snorting a line of low-grade meth.

F12 -> support tab -> find career agents. Go do their missions, they both show you how to do things and also give you a bunch of stuff to be able to do it.

The best way to learn the game is to join a newbie-friendly corporation like Pandemic Horde and ask questions. They will help you. Before that, do the career agents.

Speaking of Pandemic Horde, anyone who wants to join them should join the "Join HORDE" chat channel in-game. If it's not the dead of night someone there will be able to point you in the right direction. The general help channels are also very useful for new players.

Usually joining any group is fine. Large or small there's usually always someone interested in helping.

Since amount of active players really count for corporations.

Don't join corps in highsec. It's terrible. I've done it, and regretted it.

Okay, career agents are nice. Probably going to end up spending a few hours tomorrow having to edit what I have recorded though.

I once had a corp seeking to recruit new plauers mainly and offer them what they need to start out, best way to create sleeper agent! They get to trust you and feel they owe you, and one day you might need help from them or their corp who knows. But i was mainly doing that to help out, have fun and provide them with frigates and such.

DF doesn't mold players into its image - DF merely selects those who were always ready for DF.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

https://community.eveonline.com/news/dev-blogs/introducing-clone-states-and-the-future-of-access-to-eve-online/

coming F2P in november basically....or "unlimited trial" if you want to look it like that (damn i felt a need to return into mortal...but anyways)...

cant wait for november to come. i may have to sell all my ships or just go and buy a frigate to start all over again since most of my ships are cruiser+ class...
