I'm glad for the wars as a WH dweller and trader, it's good to finally see all the hurf blurf chestbeating and smacktalk turn into an actual war and loads of profits for me.

New news...

Beffah - TEST former mildir, Ingen Kerr - TEST former interim supreme leader/mildir, India99 - TEST newly-promoted logistics director alleged to have ran off with ~350 billion~ in alliance contracts.

Now all members of Snigg in PL - less than one day.

There's a number of others who have jumped ship too, but well... Time to guess who India99 is an alt of. Ingen Kerr are said to have not taken anything from TEST, well - Beffah took her titan/supers that TEST pretty much paid for... And who is left in TEST that will actually tell you what is left?

You're incredibly mistaken if you think TEST isn't getting played by someone. *cough* PL/Former TEST directors *cough*

But yeah, I uhm, called it before they were all confirmed to join PL. ^  ^

EDIT: Aerallo's leaving now too - uncertain where yet. Beffah had an offer to join Goons. She declined but is posting on SA/Kugu about her experience leaving TEST.

EDIT2: Aerallo trolling TEST about joining PIZZA after his departure thread states 'no drama'.

It's hard not to sound smug when every time I've given TEST my advice and my perspective I've been shit on by their members for being 'wrong' when I'm either inevitably or immediately proven correct.

I should have my alt apply to be one of TEST's mildirs.

I'd wager this is the beginnings of a long-overdue failcascade.

To be fair to TEST, TEST can't really failcascade because failcascading is their usual modus operandi.

They'll shed some people and maybe even lose delve but Dreddit will just go stomp all over some poor suckers. And they'll continue being a feeder corp for PL and keep handing them free supers like they have been for a while now.

Eve is always welcoming and open to new players :) it's worth rolling a character and once you have atleast 5mil SP ( that's a couple months training ) you are then eligible to join one of the large alliances out in null sec.

I'm my self am a recruiter and diplomat within CFC if you are interested in joining send me a message ( I'm Wulf Ulfric in game ) and I can help you out and when you are a little more experienced and want to come out to null I can see about getting you into the corp.

When you just start creating a character, the race of your character isn't that important. It changes how your character looks, where in the eve universe you start, and gives you a few hours head start in that race's frigate skill.

The more important thing is to decide which race's ships to dabble/train in, because that will affect your skill training and play style immediately.

Caldari - Mainly missile weapons, some railguns, and shield tanked. Ships look the most "terran" in other spaceship games. Known for being the capitalistic space jew race. Because of their reliance on missiles and their mechanics, they're the favourite race among PvE players, but less favoured for pvp (besides ECM). Hate Gallente, and to a lesser extent Minmatar. Allied with Amarr.

Amarr - Heavy brick armour tank, pewpew laser weapons which don't use ammo but are heavy on capacitor usage. Known for being the fanatic-religious slaver race with giant golden dildo ships. Hate Minmatar the most, and Gallente. Allied with Caldari. In the current "meta", their capital ships are the most favoured.

Gallente - Freedom loving space frenchies with a hard-on for drones. They mainly armor tank and use hybrid turrets like blasters and railguns and send their space drone minions to mess with people. Their ships are blue-greenish freaks of nature. Hate Caldari and Amarr. Allied with Minmatar.

Minmatar - Alpha race. Winmatar. Previously slaves to Amarr, the Minmatar won their independence after a bloody war. Minmatar use projectiles in the form of autocannons and artillery, which do a ridiculous amount of damage at once (alpha damage). Projectile ammo can also be selected to deal greater damage to resist holes, which combined with playing smart, can severely reduce the amount of damage your enemy can tank before they explode. Combine this with Minmatar ships superior speed and you have the race often chosen by solo and small gang pirates, gankers, hardcore pvpers, and alpha-fleet doctrines (in which a large fleet firing at once vaporizes an enemy ship in one volley before logistics can save them). Minmatar ships can be armor or shield tanked, and to fly well are notorious for taking longer training time. But they aren't jokingly called Winmatar for no reason. The downside? If you don't like it, their ships literally look like garbage. Rusted scrapheaps and solar panels with guns and engines attached. Some people like the junky aesthetic however, and to this day many Eve players love to recall their first Rifter - the Minmatar iconic frigate. Hate Amarr/Caldari, allied with Gallente.

I fly all the races but you could probably tell I'm biased. Minmatar - Winmatar.

I really like the Minmatar look, and i like the idea of projectiles, while the other races go for flash lasers i like the idea of lobbing hot bricks of lead feels very steam-punk to me :)

the rifter also looks way cool so does the bellicose but I imagine thats a few months play away.
