new plan we are going to moon mine in a high static WH

New plan wont work I'm afraid, WH Moons can't be mined.

I second Fikes, what was the issue with moving the PoS to 0.3?

yeah i just found out about that >,<

also yeah we can still move it to a 0.3 but it would be able to be close to HQ and a few people would have to manage it. also i cant be the only one looking for good positions and will need a few people to help out with scanning moons and finding a good system

Oguser or Schmaeel or Arzi are all good <0.3 systems, and there are a ton of them in Kor-Azor low-sec. They're only 3 or 4 jumps away from Ordion, and it's mostly barren over there. I remember when a few others as well as myself were all roaming through that area, and there were times when it was only us and one other person in the whole system. The rest of that region is similarly desolate, and it looks like there should be some moons out there ripe for the picking. All we need to do is get someone to go out and survey some of them to see what our competition is like, and which moon/system to pick.

I've just checked 22 moons in Oguser. 10 have no materials. 7 are occupied, one of which destroyed my ship. The remaining 5 had various combinations of Evaporite Deposits, Hydrocarbons, Silicates and Atmospheric Gases. Even taking reactions into consideration, most profit potential I'm seeing is about 90 million a month assuming a medium tower and a zero tax rate.

Unless we have the capability to perform an eviction.

It's possible, but would depend upon who we were evicting, and who they are friends with.

Did you note any of the corp names of the occupied moons?

With some minor training I could effectively fly a dreadnought...

1 hour, 53 minutes for the minimum required training to fly it. 237 days to do it properly though. :P Still, I wouldn't mind going that direction after my current skill plan.

No. After losing one ship I felt properly motivated to not stick around to take notes. My intent was to find an empty one anyway. I do, however, still have a list of the moons that are occupied. A few of the stations were very noticeably more or less well defended than others. But I also didn't check moon materials on the occupied moons, so that would need to be checked too.

If we have a suitable eviction force I can go back and find a suitable target, but even if they let us, taking out a PoS is not trivial.

How much does a fully fitted dreadnaught cost?

~2 billion for the empty hull. Also you can't take them into highsec.

Market on dreads is crazy, if you have a someone who can build them it might be worth looking into how much you could get a bpc for one and the parts for.

I know i can typically shave a few hundred mil off capital construction pretty easily even in cases where i don't have a bp to use from my corp.

Though the long construction time is typically pretty brutal.

As I and others are rather eager to encourage some form of PvP for the corp, I was thinking of organizing some small frig combat tournament for the corp and our blues. Something simple, only T1 frigs, maybe even a limit on tech of mods, maybe with an entrance fee and winner-takes-all pot. My main concern is that I'm not sure how many people would be interested in such a thing. Another problem might be figuring out a time when everyone is available, but that can be mitigated if we do a more relaxed tournament where fights happen whenever it is convenient for the two people, even if that makes the tournament stretch out over a few days.

So, show of hands, who would be interested/participate in such a thing?
