.......... I have been struck momentarily speechless by the excellent Warhammer 40k reference. Truly.  Fine job Spoon. Fine job indeed.

I'm afraid you won't make it as a vassal. So far, all of the vote in the Diet have been negative.

I really do not want any steampunk elements, thank you very much.

And I really do not care.  I've stated several times that the world was verging on steampunk at its height; if they can drudge old technology back up to its former levels (might only take 20-30 turns with co-operation) they can have steampunk.  This has always been an option.  In the game Master of Magic on which this is based, I remember one of the capstone units for the dwarven race was a dirigible.   :D

Honourary member of the Sewing Circle.  Since I'm not a player.

As I stated above, burning the books makes it harder for other people to research and limits a tech's ability to go into the public domain.  Shall I take that as an order to burn the books for this turn?  You won't be able to trade the tech to anyone once it's done (for obvious reasons).

I've told them, I am not a insane attacking bastard.

I just delcare on one guy. ONE GUY! And I am immediately established as bloodthirsty killer. I didn't even attack ANY of his units!

Hey, you can still make it in.

Technically.

In reality you need all the votes not cast so far. And one of the people who has not voted appears to want war with you more then piece. But I am not a mind reader, who knows what will happen.

Op. Never mind.

Hopefully I can isolate the area of land that I want before someone conquers the're way there.

All I need is Eastern and western Mavern, and then Northern Beaton and I wil have secessfully got the land that I want.

I may conquer Southern Mavern too to get the Bonus and then give it to some poor chap that needs it.
