Johynfalcon: it'll make it harder for everyone to reasearch, and less likely to go public-domain.

Also.. Look at the armies on the field.. -I- am fielding the most expensive/(strong? Well one could make that argument, proly not for long though) one currently..Everyone else seems to be pretty much Zerg rushing with spearman.. Don't worry too much bout expensive troops till yer fielding em.

Yeah. More expensive units just don't seem worth it currently in my opinion. And phalanxes are even more expensive now.  :(

I really do not want any steampunk elements, thank you very much.

Actually, I suggested the Iituem's game be steampunkish when he asked what is should be in the other CaW thread, so I certainly expect at least some steampunk elements.

Your sending your three most powerful units away in exchange for...

... what?

I approve of this ability to "Burn the Books". It seems like a perfectly acceptable way to blitz forward in tech, then undermine everyone's ability to follow you, slightly. Could it work out? I think so.

Anywho, Cmon folks lets get those last 4 turns in! I have A MIGHTY NEED to know how badly my forces died.

Thank you one thousand time Harticus. Be sure that your generosity will be remembered.

((Johnfalcon: There is this stuff known as trust which mean that he know I am going to give him something back. Then, you can also see this as a way for him to thank me, after all, due to my diplomacy, he went from being assaulted by the strongest alliance in the world to having no ennemies and his safety garanteed by the Empire.))

Well, I guess your right about that...

But his three strongest units? Its okay to put some trust in people, but sometimes, too much trust is a bad thing.

He has ships. All of territories are costal.

Think about it...

(( Not accusing you Sheb of backstabbery, I am just trying to convice him not to place so much trust in people. ))

Sheb, If you still have need of some forces, after I've secured my local area (~4 provinces, give or take 1) I can see my way to possibly lending ya a few. Brent could be a hard conquest. Though you'll likely conquer yours, before I conquer mine.

Thank you, Traveller, but I don't think I am going to use troops from outside the Empire.

Well, Figured I'd offer, as a goodwill gesture. I'm just nice like that.
