Thanks Terenos.

Now, he got four galleons and at least 8 units. I think I am toast.

But you got an army. Damn, I even let you have those knights! Oh, and well. If you want those pirates to stay there...

I..Don't think hes out to kill you. I also highly doubt that every one of them is loyal to him. Its -likely- they'll attempt to raid you into the ground, yes. But they cant hit your inland provinces. So what you need to start doing is setting up a bunch of archers or maybe light macemen (not sure if its an attack or defense, coming to the rescue. Proly defense) in these provinces, then grind him into the sea.

But 6 triremes proly ain't gonna stop his fleet. Once you cut down his land forces, yer proly in the clear.

Yeah, but all that time spent fighting a huge pirate army is time not spent expanding. And I cannot afford to loose battle either... Or he'll capture my men.

Iituem, are his galleon also fighting in raids?

..Kashyyk when'd you get another heavy cav? Didnt it get captured?

Also, this seems to be a -FINE- time for ye olde United Provinces to stock up on defense out of raw paranoia

Sure thing, how long are you willing to wait? I'm planning on storming through Bleater, so it might be quicker if I went through North Bleater than marching round it and through Farland.

Hey Sheb, it would be in both our interests for me to help you out anyway I can. I REALLY need that trade route open.

I cant do much militarily, but I could toss you a loan.
I've no purchases this turn that are vital to be done right away, or what couldnt be put off.

Well, as I highly doubt Hubris can make me an offer that is better than £700 on Diplomacy I, I'll be posting my turn.

Well, obviously, I'll need as much money as I can muster in the next months.

Any loans from anybody will be much welcomed, and payed off as soon as the trade route are open again. I'm even ready to pay some interests on it, although having Gasket become a trade hub again should be a priority for everyone.

Foreign Dispatch

The Greenblood Union is greatly disturbed by recent events near the sea lanes of Brent! Let it be known, ths value of trade routes to all peoples can not be underestimated. We urge other nations to follow our lead and help the people of Brent throw off the shackles of pirate tyranny and reclaim free and fair trade for all.

Also, we warned you about Gnollish pirates.  We did, didn't we?

The piracy was a problem, as it reduced the Foul Empire's income from trade significantly, but the Empire would overcome this, as it overcame all other obstacles in it's path.
