I bought a large mail shirt off of the human caravan (only noticed it was too large after they left). I decided to try equipping a dwarf with it anyways, and to my surprise, she actually did... sort of. I checked her equipment screen afterwords and instead of "Large Iron Mail Shirt", it said "Missing Item" and still listed it as equipped. The shirt was not in her inventory, nor was it in the stockpile. I ordered her to take it off, and designated her to just wear any mail shirt, but did not attempt to equip one. The mail shirt has vanished!

The second problem is that I apparently had a grand master beekeeper migrate to my fort. I am incapable of changing any of his labors and Dwarf Therapist won't show his skill  square on his beekeeping labor box. It also says he has competent skill in "UNKNOWN", whatever that is supposed to be.

Are these known bugs? Also, this is the same un-postable save that I talked about in another thread. I'm beginning to think the game is imploding upon itself.

I've had the same beekeeping bug - practically it doesn't make a difference. That dwarf will still keep the bees in a masterly fashion.

Unfortunately Therapist currently has bugs, and is not being updated/maintained well. I just enable/disable skills on each dwarf as they migrate in, and don't touch the settings later.

Can you locate the mail shirt via the stocks menu?

Nope. The Large Iron Mail Shirt is not on the stocks list. And I'm sure it has not been stolen.
