Welcome to the first (At least to the extent of my knowledge) ever Rome:Total War Countries @ War Game!

Essentially it will be much like the actual game, just done in forum style, any units or buildings you can recruit or build in game you can recruit or build in this game, if you have the right building or the right amount of money for it, I will, of course be keeping track of the buildings in my faction as well as yours. The strength of a unit is judged by it's in game strength and stats, I will use random number generators ranging from 1-100 and in some situations 1-1000 to determine the battles. Politics are relatively unchanged in that you can exchange map information, establish trade rights, form alliances, backstab said allies, and much more. I've been wanting to do this for awhile now and i'm still ironing out the details, when I have more details ready and prepared, such as how i'm going to manage money and unit morale, i'll edit this post. But for now feel free to sign up, all you have to do is post the faction you want, and the starting perk. Perks? Yes, perks. Each player will receive on perk from the list below to help them in their battles or with domestic troubles depending on their policy.

Defensive:+30% Bonus when rolling in a siege type battle, or when attacked in the field. Nullified if outclassed by the Aggression perk.
Aggression:+30% Bonus when rolling against an opponent you outnumber or outclass. Nullified by the Defensive Perk
Builder:All buildings in cities connected to your capital take one less turn to build, one turn buildings Nullify this Perk
Draft:All units in cities connected to your capital take one turn less to recruit, one turn units Nullify this perk.
Expansive:All generals gain +30% movement range.
Intelligence Networks:All watchtowers gain +30% sight range, generals gain +10% sight range.
They will never take our freedom!:+30% Bonus to all combat rolls in your territory, but -40% to population happiness.
We will take their freedom!:+30% Bonus when fighting a weaker faction than your own. -30% When fighting in your own territory against a weaker faction.

Yes that's right, I will be playing the senate, and yes I will be expanding and fighting along my roman brothers unlike the actual senate, so I won't be a pushover in the later turns.

Sadly you can't be the Chermonideans, The Greeks are available however, and you can FORM the Chermonidean League during the game.
