Huh. Eador Genesis is going for less than a buck on humble. That's... probably a good deal.

MMhhhmm.... Eador is kind of... Russian Heroes of Might and Magic (yes, I know that HOMMV was made by Russians. Nevermind that).

It's not a bad game, and it's arguably better than it's remake (Eador MOTBW). But I got kinda tired of it early TBH. Frankly, I'd rather play Heroes V (or for that matter Heroes 3 in either the modded HD or the remastered versions).

Still, that's pretty cheap and you might like killing some time in Eador.

New horizons adds some neat stuff. Bit unstable, the last I played it, but it's there. Not sure how much I can recommend it, though. It seems to, ah. Not need the base game.

Agreed. Not a bad way to spend a dollar if you enjoy exploring new games and have a fondness for HoMM-likes. I seem to recall that you can play a mage and burn stuff. I quite liked it.

I remember starting Eador and getting immediately turned off by something and never coming back to it. Might have been race choices.

Probably not, considering there kinda' aren't any. You can form alliances with certain neutral races but that's about as close as it gets.

Latest humble bundle is actually pretty legit.

https://www.humblebundle.com/jumbo-bundle-7

Devil Daggers (was not expecting to like it, am rather addicted), Runestone Keeper and Punch Club are all pretty fun, if not super duper deep.

Oh, and Prison Architect :P And Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 or something :P

I just got a spare copy of Prison Architect from that Humble Bundle. If you want it, shoot me a PM.

And someone claimed it.

gog.com just released a bunch of EA games. First DRM-free versions of Mirrors Edge, Spore collection including Galactic Adventures and Creepy&CuteParts, and The Saboteur.  60% off, pretty sweet.

At least 2 games I wanted to play! :D

The Saboteur is pretty fun I felt, though one of the missions later on in the game is quite buggy, to the point I never finished it. Could've reduced the difficulty to make the parts I kept dying at easier, but no...

Ah yes, the insatiable lust of corn and rice, clearly two of the most erotic foods.

Think you're in the wrong thread Jimbo.

But FWIW, I too would like this game.
