They will allegedly have an "Autumn Sale" coinciding with Black Friday. I'm not sure off the top of my head but I do believe they did the same last year.

And GOG deals aren't exactly known for being synchronized with Steam, so...
Nah, I was just wondering if it was Stardock being cool in general or a platform-specific sale.

Not related to any specific sale, but electronics (in general) have tended to be better discounted on the Monday following Black Friday for the past few years. "Cyber Monday".
If there's a very specific item you want on sale Friday/this week, then feel free to grab it (e.g. the EVGA GeForce GTX 960). But if it's a general type of item, probably better to wait (e.g. any higher-end nVidia card)

Incidentally, Uplay has Far Cry 4 for $15 and AC Black Flag for $12, if you are into Uplay things that you can't avoid anyway.

Pretty sure thats for hardware sales, or just online sales. Software just does whenever.

The Steam sale is up...  GIRD THY WALLETS!

It's running till next Tuesday, no obvious signs yet on whether the previous rumour is true, yet.

Well, the lack of flash/daily sales is a clue that they're indeed sale-long discounts.

I can see that now.  The page kept barfing on me for the first 15 minutes; all I was reliably getting was the background image for the sale... because it's tradition for the site to grind to a halt at the opening of a sale.  :P

An extremely cursory look indicates some games aren't at their lowest discount point; who knows if this indicates a trend or not.

Age of Wonders III is at 70% off at 9 Euro here. Worth it?

I think I put about 10 to 15 hours into it. My problem with the AoW and a lot of 4X games is, they start out promising before devolving into same-y units, same-y upgrades and same-y towns. That first couple of towns you start up it's cool, you expand your kindgdom, tralalala. But once you get out to conquer the map, I felt like the game ran out of interesting things to show me and started recycling everything. Towns are super disappointing in how they develop.

For 9 Euro, it's probably worth it if you enjoyed previous AoW. But it honestly doesn't distinguish itself from Warlock, Eador or the half dozen other bland 4x games we've seen lately.

Shadowrun: Hong Kong for $10
Elite: Dangerous for $15
The Witcher 3 for $30 (here as well, if for some reason you want to buy through Steam)
Hunie Pop for $3.40
GTA V for $36
One Finger Death Punch for $2.50
Fallout 3 for $2.50 if you're totally cheap and still haven't played it

What if you're feeling really cheap but haven't played either it or new vegas? They're both on sale.
