I'm disapointed that the old X-com games were not discounted past the 50% "base discount".
I was hoping i could get both UFODEFENSE and TFTD the the price is just not droping any more... oh well.

Do you need terror from the deep to play OpenXCom? On the OXCOM page it only says you need UFO defense...

You don't need it, but they're working on getting OpenXcom to support it, and I think the Piratez mod requires it. And everyone should play the piratez mod.

Piratez doesn't need it. But when tftd is added In some mods may start using its features, and then might need it.

Well, I got Fallout 3. I've played New Vegas and the general tone is that FO3 is not as good, but I figured screw it, I need my Bethesda fix. Can anyone recommend mods for a first playthrough- community fixes and the like, or maybe quite well balanced additional content?

Obligatory community fanpatch. UI overhaul to make it PC-friendly (but I can't remember the name of it, offhand.)

Check into stuff that uses CALIBR as far as extra guns go. The FOOK mod was pretty lore-friendly and balanced, with a lot of new content.

Get a weather replacer to wipe the piss lens from your character's eyes.

Combat Enhanced - Tactics does a pretty good job of making the enemies and followers smarter and gameplay more engaging.

Joke's on you, the game crashes regardless. Check your load order, that's usually the culprit.

Witcher 1 has different gameplay (especially combat) compared to the other two.
Saved data and states bleed to Witcher 2 however the decisions made in witcher 1 do not directly affect the goingons in Witcher 3 as far as i remember.
