I agree with this generally, based on my own experiences with my current laptop.

Twinwolf, the game lists a Geforce 240 as the floor on graphics; its specs @ Nvidia say 1 GB of GRAM.  How much memory is allocated to your graphics?  (you might have to look in the BIOS to find out)

How to Survive is 95% off for $0.75. It's not a bad game by any means, certainly worth more than that.

So, Can You Run It said my computer can not run Valkyria Chronicles, but the only thing not "checked" is the Dedicated Video RAM on the Video Card. I've heard that Can You Run It can be unreliable, so would my computer run it with an Intel(R) HD Graphics? (CYRUI says I only have 32MB of Dedicated Video Ram.)

The rule of thumb for the Intel integrated chipsets is that they won't run any games younger than you are.

It's the acronym for Binary Impromptu Overlay Sheet. You should have one stickered to backside of your graphics card box. If you threw away the box, you might still get the BIOS in electronic form if you email the manufacturer.

No, I'm talking about the basic input/output system, aka your computer's basement boiler room.  Depending on the manufacturer, you'll need to press F2 or Delete-Key within the first few seconds of a cold boot.

If it's windows, you should be able to run dxdiag and find out, I think. Just kick it on and check the display tab. No clue if that still works on 7+ or whatev'. But before that, you just hold down the start menu button, press r, and then type in dxdiag and click ok.

dxdiag works fine on 7, ye. Even gives you a 64-bit dxdiag button if you want it to do that.

Ooh, valdis story's half off. Probably could get it at a better discount but I'd definitely say it's worth seven fiddy USD, much less even less. Quite nice metroidvania style game, very pleasing combat system.
