I think something broke their flash sale timer.

I'm going to be picking up Cities: Skylines for sure, but I'm the kind of person that likes to buy a bunch of stuff in a group but there's nothing on sale I see that I really want. Oh well, at least I have 10 monies in my fake wallet, so it won't eat into my limited funds as badly.

If I were you, I'd read through the negative reviews first. There's not many, but the better ones pretty thoroughly document a lot of the problems with the game. It's at best a better game than SC5, but that's not saying much.

Tunnels were only recently patched in. HYPE... no, not really. Yawn. It has problems for sure.

Wow. Some pretty decent games are less than a dollar, like Retro/Grade (fun rhythm game based on an arcade shooter, except played in reverse; I liked it. Good music, brutal difficulty (beat it on X-Treme).) and A.R.E.S. (Sidescroller game).

On the topic of $1 games, Original War is a great RTS/RPG hybrid and I'd recommend it if you don't mind that it's from 2001.

Cheers. Dawn of War for that price is good. One of the few recentish RTS games I've wanted for a while. It probably isn't going to get any cheaper than 66% off.

Free mod though. In theory you can just use the Soulstorm expandalone which is about $6.50 right now. It also has a demo, so you can see if it actually will run on your box.

Heey, interesting. King's Bounty stuff looks like it's going for 80% off. Space rangers is sub 4 USD, if someone out there that wants it doesn't have it. Infested planet's going for 67% off, at right under 5 USD... I'd probably say worth it, at that price. That newer shadowrun thing going for three bucks for the base game. Defender's Quest for 5... one of the more solid TDs I've seen actually sold, imo. Looks like the Commandos stuff is going for a dollar or so... total. Space Empires 4 for like 2 USD. Spiderweb software's stuff is going for cheap again, if anyone cares (in a bit of hilarity, the entire geneforge saga is going for the same price any one of its component parts are :V). Lotta' pretty decent stuff in the sub-5 category, really.

I've heard that Can You Run It can be unreliable, so would my computer run it with an Intel(R) HD Graphics? (CYRUI says I only have 32MB of Dedicated Video Ram.)

The rule of thumb for the Intel integrated chipsets is that they won't run any games younger than you are.

That's only mostly a joke. The very best in the line is capable of running stuff from a decade ago smoothly; most won't be good for anything made after the '90s. Which one do you have?

If you're getting it from steam... try it? If not you can get a refund anyway now.
