I really enjoyed this. I liked that it got harder as I played. The game difficulty also increased.

This game is like real life because women are unsolvable puzzles and they love to laugh at me.

I bought a Mexican woman maracas, a poncho, and a sombrero so she'd like me. This makes me very uncomfortable.

On the other hand, I was literally able to state that I smoke weed "erryday." 10/10

My Mom bought me this game, she didn't even know what it was til i told her after.
Anyways now i'm grounded. 10/10

It's the Dark Souls of the puzzle/dating sim genre.

I made my boyfriend dissapointed on me because I got more chicks then him in a game
so its ok 10/10 best game

It's honestly not worth buying, the writing is atrocious.
Suddenly now there's this Japanese H-game type market in the West and people are buying bad games just because it seems new and fresh, to us.

Best example: Agarest series. Goddamn awful, but people still bought it in droves because "Ooohhh anime!"

• If the game is on a flash deal or daily deal then it's safe to pick it up.
• If it's the last day of the sale and the game has not gone on flash or daily deal it's safe to pick it up.

I have a phycial copy of both G1 and G2. The game is fun if a bit complicated at times. I think G1 is easier to get into tho but i kinda bounced off the series as a whole.

From reviews I remember from GoG, as far as Guild 2 goes you can ignore the rest and get renaissance. Dunno about G1.

Guild 2 Renaissance is expand-alone with all the features of the previous games. The only thing it does lack is a tutorial but there should be enough documentation online to get you going.
I love the Guild 2 but it's an extremely rough game. It desperately cries for a sequel.

No need for the other guild 2's if you get renaissance in my opinion as well, there are some things in the previous ones that are missing but they've added more and it's slightly less buggy.

I've got the series from the last sale, and don't think I've played more than ten minutes of any of them other than Guild II Renaissance.  It's effectively G2 plus G2 Pirates, so if you get G2 Renaissance then you don't really need to get either of them.

Whether or not you want to get G1 is up to you - I've not played it so can't really advise, I'm afraid.

G2 Renaissance is awesome if a little dated, however.  I recommend the Legacy fan-made patch (assuming it still works with the latest version, which I think it does) to add a bit more to the game.  Googling or Steam discussion board will find it for you.  It's not vital though.
