Are those USD prices you listed, cause it's $20 and .49 for Florida.
Settlers was good, couldn't tell you which of the two to pick though.

Port Royale was apparently good as well, for those that enjoy the economy sims. *shrug*

Those are what I see for Australian dollars sorry, the exchange rate is worse right now. Which is deliberate because the Australian government is trying to boost exports.

GOG's running another insomnia special where titles on sale are frequently rotated.
Up to 90% off. Not just the retro stuff.

Dominions 4 is 50% off for the week, pretty good deal.

Last time I posted this, someone wondered how it compares to dom3 and the thread got into bit of a derail for a moment. The game's more or less the same it was back then so just read the link if you're wondering:

If you always wanted to get King Arthur's Gold for $1.99, now it's the time.

https://www.indiegala.com/monday

And it's a bundle, with some other stuff, or something. I got it for King Arthur's tho, not even sure if I'll like it but eh.

KAG can be hilarious. I remember playing it and not being able to stop laughing!!!

Depths of Peril is a somewhat interesting, if grindy, "procedural" RPG with factions and things. It sounds a little more awesome than it is, but it can definitely draw you in for a few hours.

Definitely going to take a look at Depths now.

There's a demo for it, so you can play that to see if it piques your interest.

Hah, was about to write a long post about the goods and the bads of DoP, then I remembered I'm thinking Din's Curse, another game from Soldak.  :P

Anyways. From what I've heard and from my experience with other Soldak games, all of them (bar KW) go for "procedurally generated, living world", but are not groundbreaking in the end. They have good ideas, but could be more. Still, I personally like them very much because despite it's shortcomings, they add a bit of flavor into ARPG genre.

DoP doesn't have that fully integrated like DC but there's still one neat little thing to point out - as you can put all of your skill on toolbar, including basic "attack" skill AND you don't need to click but just hold the button for said toolbar slot, the need for clicking is greatly reduced. You still need to click on an enemy, but you need to click it once at most times (sometimes not even that, with auto attack option on). And you can hold the mouse button to move instead of clicking so yeah, kinda neat. In DC you don't even have to click at all to attack or move, but I digress.

I'd definitely try it first. I too, confuse all of the Soldak games...

Sale on Steam for titles available to, among other platforms, SteamOS. Some games on the sale page don't seem to be actually with any discount.

There's now a sale during the sale on GOG.
Notables (in my book anyway) include Deadlock 1&2 and SM's Colonization.

... I need to go get my CD working.
