I am a kid. A 29-and-three-quarters-year-old kid.

I've been considering changing my pic, actually... That one is so old... I've got much more impressive images I could use now. Hmmmm....

It's good to remain a kid at heart. Don't change.

Valkyria Chronicles is on sale again on Steam. If you missed the first sale or ignored it for some inexplicable reason, now's your chance to redeem yourself.

I bought it.

It's... a tad buggy.

Strange, I haven't run into any problems like that in the several hours I've put into it.

It is probably video card related. Make sure you have the latest drivers, and/or tweak your video settings in the game, and try the troubleshooting stuff in your OS's display settings.

I haven't had any graphics problems. I did have a really irritating issue on one mission where characters fell through the world after climbing a certain set of stairs, though.

I tried to buy Valkyria Chronicles but can't.

Not available in your region.

This kind of restrictions in the age of internet and globalization? Ridiculous... I'm not in some backwater tiny country that no one knows about, I'm in Hong Kong!

I would guess it's because HK falls under China now, and there's a weaker than usual enforcement of IP rights in China.
Other than that, I'm not sure why HK would be a restricted country, as they're lighter than most ports on tariffs, duties, and taxes.

Can you buy any other titles from the same publisher?  They might have some problems with licensing, tariffs, trade regulations ...

So, Wargame franchise is on sale till Friday.

Been interested in getting one of those ever since the first one came our, but it being mostly MP oriented and hard-core to boot, I constantly question myself. Still, any thoughts on getting the whole pack (12,49€) vs. just Red Dragon (9,99€) vs. just the first/second one? As I understand it there isn't much single player campaign to speak of, at least in the first two, but if any of the 3 is more balanced/fun/lag-free/stands out in general, I'd consider getting just that...

Magicmaker now is now on Steam sale for $5. It's a platformer about making spells to blast everything dead with overwhelming particle effects spam. It's pretty fun!

From what my brother has said, each successively doesn't give much reason to play the previous - it's the same, but more. Definitely a multiplayer game, though.
