Ah, should have mentioned I'm aiming for physical copy of Enhanced Edition. So basically the same as digital version on GoG, with only bonus not having to download +8gb. Then again, thinking about it now, maybe not really worth paying 9 or so more € just for that privilege. I guess I'll just grab it.

I think it's been upgraded to director's cut enhanced edition. Whatever that means. That aside, you'll get a discount on Witcher 3 if you ever want that (not sure if that will remain the case after launch, though)

Just make sure you jump into Assassin of Kings too. That is one incredible sequel.

I hope The Wild Hunt can match that leap, it probably won't, but I hope.

According to my friend, it's pretty well done and fun to play, but it's also your typical ~10 hour campaign minimal replay value shooter.

So it's up to you if that's worth $20

Personally, I'm waiting till it hits $5 or so.

I just feel that the first one was them really finding their footing, the second was them pretty much nailing everything they did, so now it's just expanding that world and keeping the same level of quality.

They have taken twice as much development time so I'm fairly optimistic.

I grabbed it at launch and it was surprisingly good. Really strong story and characters and very stylised. It felt a lot like old shooters of the 90s/00s like Half Life 2 etc. But it's definitely a goofy experience at times.

It's quite good. Keep in mind it's a ~50gb download and has fairly high minimum specs.
