I think it'd be much easier to just have one sales thread. I already have to juggle nearly half a dozen sites for sales, doing the same with threads here would seem very silly. With that, here's a weekend indie promo from GOG:

... as for the indie stuff linked, the spiderweb games stuff (Avernum, geneforge) is pretty decent, if you don't already have 'em and you like fairly old-school CRPGs. You'd probably be able to get a better deal if you hold out until they show up in another bundle, though.

The weekly deals are pretty good this week. Supreme Commander Gold (that's the original plus Forged Alliance) at 75% off, a lot of Men of War games, as well as Faces of War, plus a few other games here and there. Worth a look.

Also, GOG.com is having an insomnia sale right now. Not sure how long it'll last, but the games are going quick.

Sacrifice is on Steam's weekly deals. One of the best games I've ever played.

RTS/Action game. You're a wizard. You summon critters and cast spells in order to kill the other wizards and accomplish various mission objectives. The creatures that get summoned have a modest rock/paper/scissors thing going. Visually they're interestingly designed. It's not your bog standard human/orc/elf world.
Your spells can tip the scales in key engagements. Major spells are spectacular: you can summon volcanoes, earthquakes, Death and all sorts of lesser but also neat stuff. The big thing for me is how the spells can impact the landscape. Rock god empowers you with the ability to hurl huge boulders. Those things actually create craters as they impact. That active volcano that gets summoned? Even if the lava stream stops, it's still a mountain that's standing there for the remainder of the mission.
There are five gods in the game, you choose who to serve and can hop between the gods as you please. There are about five or so levels of monsters and spells. The first time you pick a god unlocks you that god's lvl1 monster&spell set. The second time unlocks lvl 2's and so on and so forth. The varying spell&monster combos and missions for each god, in addition to the good story help keep the game replayable for a good few runs.
The gods are all voice acted (Tim Curry gets thrown around a lot when this game is mentioned) and have well written and fun personalities.

To sum up:
You're a wizard with the ability to wreck shit up. It's fun. Also beautiful with good voice acting and story.

To sum up:

On a whim I picked it up; I only noticed afterward that it was released in 2000, but it is nice to hear Tony Jay's voice again (also Kevin Michael Richardson, most recognizable to me as Sarevok from BG1/2). The voice of the "main" character in the Sacrifice campaign is also familiar (he did some things in Diablo 1 or 2 but I don't remember 100% what they were, maybe some of the books you open/read in game?). And Michael Bell (Raziel).

Syder Arcade is $2.50 USD, well worth it. And personally, after playing through Retro/Grade as much as I have, it's nice playing an arcade shooter in forward time again, and putting some of my re-developed skills back into the game (didn't expect to knock out half the achievements so quickly). I think Retro/Grade helped me with my reaction-timing, along with Sounddodger for getting the hitboxing correct with dodging in general.

On a whim I decided to buy Kung Fu Strke: The Warrior's Rise for $2.49. Not a bad little console port beat 'em up. Very quick, focused design. Minimal dialog story.
