I dislike having voting give cards. As it is, I feel like I might as well vote when I open up steam just for the $0.20 or whatever, even if I have no interest in the games. Not that it matters, since the price is the same as the daily deals that it'll inevitably get anyway (and probably have an encore the last day), but still.

Vote with your heart, go all in if you're under 10k, and remember, never bet DBZ.

I don't get cards anyway, because I'm only level four or some such silliness. I've voted on most of them anyway, I think. Even (especially) the ones I'm not interested in actually buying. Sometimes you want to throw your vote to good will. Or amusement. Or coin flips.

So after all that stuff about HoM&M a few days ago, the entire series (except VI) is now on sale at GOG. Providence, perhaps? I think I shall take advantage of this offer...

You won't be disappointed.

I'd consider it just to get a digital copy of 3... but trololol no discount unless I buy the whole thing including stuff I don't want and already have.  ::)

I can't get GOG's I and II to work on Vista. Do I need DOSBox or something :S?

I thought the downloads included DOSBox?

Well. Maybe. I bought it months ago and this reminded me of those games... Guess I forgot.

I laughed when I saw the snowglobes are "subject to availability".

I wish Steam had a "sort by purchase date" option in the games listing.  I sometimes have to wait a few days before I actually install my purchases (low hard drive space) and it's hard to remember and find the new ones.  It would also help with a systematic clear-my-backlog campaign...

It's not long, but there's a chronological list on your personal community stream... select the bit that say My Activity. (smallish, on the same horizontal as the search input field)  It'll show you your last couple weeks of activity, including newly acquired games.

You can also look at your game list via community, and sort by time played... things with zero hours are obvious ones to check for installation.  :)

I keep a paper list to keep up with all of them, long term... but that's just me.  :P

Click your "[username]'s account" in the upper right corner of the steam app, and then account details. Shows your purchases in chronological order. However, I am not sure if there is a limit to how long it can list or how it compares to other methods of viewing your library. Also, it is not necessarily a full lists since it shows purchases, not individual games - bundles and packs, for example, aren't broken down by item (and you may not be able to view what was in the pack if it was only a limited time offer).

You can also make new sorting groups for games. There's a "general" one that everythign goes in, but you can make your own. So far mine's just "everything I may play" and "things I got in bundles but don't care at all about", but you could make many more groups if you wanted.

Anyone know if Valdis Story - Abyssal City is any good? It went on sale, and the gameplay looks pretty slick, but I'm not sure if it's worth getting since there aren't any reviews for it yet.

I'm showing reviews for it... try refreshing?  (or viewing through the client instead of the web)  The store side of Steam is always a bit wonky right after the daily rollover.

If it's truly broken for you, I can screencap the top results and post them.
