What do people think about Gnomeria? Worth $2?

It's more of less DF that trades some depth for better graphics.
As with DF its still in development so the depth part will mostl ikely improve while DFs graphics most likely will never budge (while becoming so deep it pierces the planet the game is set on straight through and digs through vacuum straight into the middle of the local star).

Development has been slow for a while, though. There's a ton of stuff in the GUI that I would LOVE to have in DF, but it has some drawbacks/abstractions that I dislike because I love DF. Worth the $2 though.

I can also recommend Reus for 2.50, sunk a few hours in that and it's quite enjoyable.

Rocksmith 2014 is on a daily deal. If you are interested in learning how to play guitar beginner or intermediate, it's a very good deal. The problem is, however, that it requires a proprietary cable, which for obvious reasons needs to be bought separately.

That sounds like you're waiting for something particular to go on sale that hasn't yet.... which game?

There's nothing in particular, although Assassins Creed IV would be nice (I can dream) - but in past years the sale launches loads of games at me that I can't resist buying - this year the offers are on things I genuinely have no interest in.

Well i voted for Hexagon... mostly because of my consience bugging me that i should have bought it instead of playing the (superior) freeware knockoff.
If it wins i can just throw several cents at it i got from selling those silly cards anyway.

Not sure what "knock-off" Sonlirain is referring to, but the precursor to Super Hexagon is just Hexagon, available on most Flash Game sites.
Personally, I see no significant differences.
