It gets annoying having my phone auto-logon to Steam when a sale is up for a game I already have (mostly thanks to bundles).

Oh lord, I don't know if I want to buy Enemy Within.

I still haven't finished my modded X-com, and I have a feeling that will last me for quite a while, and Within breaks the mods...

but it's so cheap and I have no idea when it'll lower to anything past 30 bucks past the sale.

Pretty sure I heard of being able to switch between 'Enemy Unknown' and 'Enemy Within' if you have both at the start of a game. Not sure if simply having the expansion installed but not in use breaks mods however.

Yes you can choose when starting the game whether to start enemy unknown or enemy within. No switching of saves between them however, you are locked in for the campaign.

Disable push notifications (or something like that) in the steam app options and it won't auto-login anymore.

I don't know why they have it enabled by default, it's incredibly annoying.

It's going to be awhile before the sale price drops below that and there's tons of fun to be had right now. I think the retail price is still going to see some increases as it gets closer to version 1.0. It's not really about the 40% off. It's about the $16.
