Anyone think Rome 2 Total War will go on sale on steam or anywhere else? I haven't seen any sign of it being on sale anywhere, but I might have missed it. 60 USD is too much for any game for me.

You'll get a sales history.  It's not always reliable, though.

Says it's $29.97 on GMG, and that it's never been lower.  But when I click through, I get the list of $59.95.

Personally, I'd wait until the Steam winter sale.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is 75% off. I had two bucks from selling excess cards, which brought it up to more like 80%.

I already purchased as I've been wanting it for a while. What are your thoughts, B12? Everything I've read says that the only DRM is Steam itself, so that's pretty great.

General consensus sounds like no one wants it to have anything to do with XCOM, that it doesn't have anything to do with XCOM, it's a generic shooter, there are inconsistencies in what it sounds like you'll be doing and what you'll actually be doing (pertaining to followers).

Metacritic gives it a 66. Considering the plethora of better-designed (albeit perhaps not necessarily less generic) shooters, The Bureau is actually one of the games you probably want to miss unless you absolutely must own everything XCOM, even if it's just to say you own one of the red-headed step-children of the series.

Steam already brutally murdered my wallet and dumped the body in the ocean. But they're going to get me with at least one sale, i know it.

Steam's summer sale was pretty good, IIRC, although some people are starting to have all of the good games that regularly go on sale anyway. Personally I'm looking forward to the upcoming sale; maybe Enemy Within will see a discount.
