Have any of you played Rochard?  What did you think of it?

It's... unimpressive. Decently-executed, silly, and if you like the type of game you'll probably enjoy it, especially if you have a deeper appreciation for indie games. However, it's rather plain, at least in my opinion. Nothing to rave about.

You may want to keep waiting, though. I got Rochard through a Humble Indie Bundle, and given that they do rotate some of the same games in their bundles, you might be able to pick it and a bunch more up for very little.

I loved Rochard. Just don't expect a good story or a challenging game. No replay value either.

Still, a fun 2d platformer.

I'd say no, at the moment it's pretty empty of actual gameplay - mostly it's just Land Flattening Simulator - so there's not a lot of point to owning it at any price right now.  Updates are pretty infrequent too - last one was ~two months ago - so there's not much of a experiencing-the-game-as-it-develops going on just now either.
