So Quakecon is going on so huge ID software going on sale, if you haven't picked up Doom, quake or Wolfenstein before this be a good time.

Just checked it out, already own most of the games so probably won't buy anything, but saw this.

It was doing that for me to, apparently picking up the price for the entire pack in one place and having no price in the other.

If you go to the actual game page (linky) it should have the correct price. $1.24 in the US.

Ya, all the computers in my school ran of 8" floppies until the mid 90's, maybe we're just behind in tech up here though, the 486 just came out in the states too, right?

Yes, I don't doubt you used an 8-inch floppy on a 1971 computer, even if you use it in 1996 it won't morph like Bumblebee.

Everything from the Apple-II forwards used 5 1/4-inch. Pretty sure all PC-clones used at least 5 1/4", until 3.5" was more common.

I was born in 1990. We had an 8" floppy collection and a dinosaur computer that ran like... original windows.

Definitely used 8" floppies. Those things were massive.

I remember going to a cousin's house and seeing a normal floppy and how advanced it was. It could store 1.5mb holy sheeeet.
