Got Reus for $5, only played a bit but seems quite enjoyable. A nice blend of puzzle mechanics and terraforming.

Thanks for the opinions about Reus. Although I think I would have enjoyed Reus I decided I might as well skip it and hope it goes down in the next few months. I decided that I'd rather take that $5 and buy some chicken for a roast dinner tomorrow night.

They usually have a kind of "best of" sale where the most popular sale items are bought back for people who missed them. There's usually never else special.

It looks like today's daily deals might've got leaked a day early, unless Steam is more than one day late on them - http://store.steampowered.com/news/11091/

For those who don't wanna click links, I've dumped them in a spoiler:

Drat, don't need any of those.  Hopefully the flash deals have something more interesting.  Like Dustforce or Miasmata.

It appears the steam news was correct.
The current flash deals are left 4 Dead 2, Gunpoint, LEGO LOTR, War of the Roses
Community choice are Bastion, Strike Suit Zero and Awesomenauts.

If someone is interested, Gunpoint has a really refreshing atmosphere. It's not the best of puzzle games, being rather easy and after some time - quite repetitive - but it's worth the money. It does have some great humor.

So, if I am to get Mount & Blade, what version should I get? (Can't get the complete pack, even though I wanted it, because I'm buying it with money gained from selling the stupid cards.)

Warband is probably the better game. Fire and sword removed several features IIRC.

Warband has the most amazing mods running for it.

Evoland any good?

Also looking at Fallen Enchantress, but it looks like I should just play Civ.

Evoland is a short, entertaining game. Nothing special, but I enjoyed it.
Fallen Enchantress is amazing. It's right between Civilization, old Heroes of Might and Magic, and Master of Magic. I really enjoy it, and recommed it.

I can buy one more game during these sales. And two games look good enough where I'm probably gonna get one of them.

Batman Arkham Asylum

Or Fallen Enchantress

I'd probably get more time out of Fallen Enchantress, since I love strategy games and especially fantasy based ones.

But Batman Arkham looks like a lot of fun and a lot of people like(d) it, and its a bit cheaper. I don't have a controller though (I'll get one at some point, I need one to fly stuff in Arma :P), and games like this do better (generally) with one, than a keyboard/mouse.

My vote is Batman, because it was great and because Stardock is sleazy.   :P
