On the cards and junk: you don't have to do anything with them.  IMO, cards aren't fun, and I'm not going to background run or poopsock games to worry about either cards or achievements (I just wish there was an easy achievement toggle-off instead of having to turn off community stuff).

Of course, I'm probably not the target market anyway, considering lots of people will gladly do unfun things in order to collect digital stamps.

And yes, Antichamber is the better vote this time, imo.

Why the heck are people talking about cards? I'd rather play games, not play games to get virtual cards that are about as useful as virtual achievements. I don't see what the fuss is about.

I'm curious about this too. It looks like it's fairly incomplete right now, but the sales pitch appeals to me.

Is Bully worth a fiver? I remember it being fairly popular back in the day and the idea of GTA in a school is interesting.

I have heard many good things about Bully but haven't played it myself.

I do believe you missed the sale on it, though.

It sounds pretty cool. But from what I read on steam forums, its more of a tech demo and development is REALLY slow. Other than that, it actually sounds awesome. But I dunno.

I looked into it a few months ago because I loved the idea. All I turned up was, you can build some of the ships with some of the parts and fight random other ships in an empty arena. I'd say treat it like a kickstarter instead of a pre-order, because they have a long, long way to go on content before it's a real game. There's a thread for it buried around here as well.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

The cards are worth money. If you can hawk off your cards, the money goes into your Steam Wallet. I have $1.14 from just two cards I sold, which, while certainly not extraordinary, isn't that bad at all.

As for games, I've only gotten Bioshock 1 and 2 and the two Half Life 2 episodes. I have yet to see any other games for sale that really interest me (or cost within the amount of money I'm willing to pay for them right now.)

Bronze, I have 1.75. From at least thrice that many cards. Not extraordinary, but not particularly great either.

Yes, or you can buy/sell them on the market for steambucks (at a 15% tax rate).

Edit: Has "Mars" been discussed yet?  Looks kinda interesting.

Is the new Tomb Raider good? I wasn't really a fan of the old games but I heard decent things about this. Now that it's <$15 I might have to try and trade something for it or panhandle for a couple of hours. But only if it's good. Otherwise I will wait.

Steam summer sales spreadsheet that's updated daily, shows best prices and alternative places to buy (e.g. GMG or Amazon) if they have lower prices:
