Quick question- On the daily sails section is says fourteen hours remaining, but on the individual games it says 38 hours remaining.  Which is it?

The listing on the game is correct.  The game is highlighted on the front page for 24 hours, but on xtra-sooper-sale for 48 hours.  This has been standard operating procedure for Steam's semi-annual sales for at least the last iteration or two.  I'd imagine this cuts down support calls for last minute buyers who lose the window because everyone is feverishly refreshing near the 10am PST rollover.

...  Not enjoying the trading card nonsense. ...

Seconded.

I play games to play games, not to get points in a metagame that is difficult to play without a lot of games.  If the trend keeps up, it'll be trading cards all the way down.

...I think I'll give dark souls a pass, then.

I wish when games went onto steam, they'd stick with steam rather than also needing origin, GfWL or some shit like that.
its a console port, what did you expect, its not a horrible level to say what GTA4 is.

Last I heard of it it was easier to buy and then use the other digital version instead unless you like layers.

For games like GTA the console port can suffer from bad keyboard driving, but 4 is not bad.

GTA4 was horrible cause it was 30fps locked and it did not use your computer's power to the fullest, people with gaming pcs struggle with settings that wouldn't been to hard for them. GTA 4 not only include Steam DRM but GFWL and Rockstar Club, 3 damn things to check your game is legit, how retarded is that.

Re: Dark Souls

If you're one of those people that doesn't have a hard time setting up GFWL, it's just another login for the most part.

The game pretty much requires a gamepad, I couldn't manage the keyboard mouse and I'm pretty tolerant of bad controls.

The game is playable, but much much better after DSFix.

If you can grok those three things, it's an amazing game IMO.

So, Borderlands 2 is all on flash sale for 66% off. Yet, as much as I sit and stare at it, I can't make myself buy it.

Unless I missed something (entirely possible), this one actually put the Psycho pack on sale while the previous ones hadn't. That's pretty much all I was still looking for. (That's what I voted hoping for)

Just think of all the inventory management you can get for just $10. Spend a couple of days swapping cartoon guns instead of eating and you're all evened out.

I play using only the keyboard and it works just fine.
