I got around 9 hours out of it after unlocking all the achievements. It's great fun with a great soundtrack and occasionally I play a level or two to just blow off steam. I cannot wait for Hotline Miami 2 which will have a level designer and, hopefully, a great bunch of community maps to lose myself in.
One of my favorite games.

Not enjoying the trading card nonsense. It doesn't really affect me in anyway but I'm not sure how much I like Steam's move to micro-transactions and the community market. The whole "meta game market" thing ruined TF2 for me and I don't want to see that come to any other title I enjoy.

Scribblenauts is fun if you like making ridiculous situations (or solutions), but don't expect difficulty.

Looking through the list of games, nothing really turns me on. The only things that only loosely caught my attention were the previously mentioned Hotline Miami and Don't Starve, which I might save for a rainy day.

Well, thanks to the massive "Trading Card" purchase barrage, the payment system ceased cooperating, and one of the items I had in my cart is no longer on sale (Flash sale; the Counter Strike one).

Now I have to wait for it to stick it's head out again, provided games repeat flash sales.

Pre-post edit:
...And now it seems my cart keeps spilling empty, and I have to keep reloading it in record time to make my purchase; which is still bugged like hell.

EDIT:
And it's still not processing my orders. I already updated the Steam client, and it's still acting up.

EDIT EDIT:
I'm losing my patience with it, and I'm a patient person.

EDIT EDIT EDIT:
After the 25th refill of my cart, it finally patched through.

Actually, it kept emptying as I was shopping (get one game, lose two in the cart; try again), and I wasn't able to get into the confirmation screen, and according to my mailbox, only one transaction was made.

I may be an idiot, but I'm not stupid. The idiot part being the losing my patience, but I wasn't stupid enough to make it multi-/over-charge.

Quick question- On the daily sails section is says fourteen hours remaining, but on the individual games it says 38 hours remaining.  Which is it?

For anyone that doesn't know yet- Dark Souls is on sale, 75% off.

I'd definitely recommend a buy. It's a great game.

I heard from various people that the PC port of Dark Souls was among the worst ever. What's your take on it?

I can't believe I forgot about how shitty the port is. It's pretty bad, but even so, once you get past the absolute-utter-bullshit Games For Windows Live client, (For some people it was easy to set up, for others, including me, it was a pain) the game works.

There's a mod/community patch out there that helps improve the resolution and quality, I believe, because the resolution on textures isn't top-notch, but this is more of a minor problem, but still points towards a bad port.

The game is also very very difficult to play without using a gamepad, (For me, this was relatively simple enough, I have a pair of old wired X-box 360 controllers I just plugged into the USB port on my PC.) and it's very highly recommended you get one or find one from your old Xbox setup.

There are quite a few problems, actually, but I will not stress enough how fun the game is when you get past all of the crap. It's a bad port, but an absolutely phenomenal game. But of course, it depends on whether or not it's your type of game, and whether or not you want to wade through the G4WL crap beforehand.

One tip for anyone thinking about buying: I don't know if they've fixed this yet, but STEAM DOWNLOADS THE WRONG G4WL VERSION. You'll want to get the newer, updated version from the Microsoft website, I believe, instead of letting Steam install it for you.

And for anyone interested, here's the graphics mod I was talking about: http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?tag=dsfix

I am still really angry at Amazon for over pricing some of their products.

I won't give them another cent.
