Can we please make note of which Currency it is in. While sometimes Steam decides that hey just cause I am Australian I need to pay a little more despite the USD of American Steam clients show it being a bit cheaper...

For me, its 16.99USD, Yes USD...

So we're supposed to post exchange rates when we mention sales? People are mentioning the price it's stated to them.

IIRC steam reserves the power to alter prices depending on what country they are in at will, so it's fully possible you are both talking in USD but steam has priced it differently.

I have seen someone state that X game was a certain amount.... In Euro... Didn't mention that he was talking about the cost in Euro...

For the most part, yeah. Sales increase the number of copies sold, and I remember a Steam dev saying that big sales make a crapton of cash real fast. With that in mind, there's no reason for them not to have sales worldwide.

For all you srs bsns people out there, Silent Hunter Complete includes all SH games and expansions from SHIII onwards, for €10 on Gamersgate.

For all two 4X lovers out there that don't already have GalCiv 2, it's on sale on Steam for $4.99.

I don't actually have either of them yet. I may pick up this one.


Also, I've got around $25 kicking around in my old bank account. Any suggestions?

I beta-tested Galactic Civilizations 2 with my dad while I was in middle school.  That was the OS/2 version...

Dubious naming conventions aside, Brad Wardell is an excellent developer and a cool guy.  I like how he LPs all his games.  This is definitely worth picking up if you like TBS games.

(Also, while not a sale, I preordered the fuck out of Zeno Clash 2.  First person to PM me gets my spare Zeno Clash 1 key.)

If you get GalCiv2, get Kryo's Hull System Mod. Lots more fancy (though mostly aesthetic) ship construction.

Why do I hear time and time again through different mediums that the Game known as War Z has been pulled from Steam Sale. YET I can easily find it still for sale on my Steam Client???

Because it was briefly pulled from steam and is now available again.
