Civilization V
Gods & Kings is 25%. Doubt it's going any higher than that during this sale anyways.

It was just released, so no it's not going lower.

Hey, I could dream. :)

More so I was posting so that if there's anyone that was waiting for Gods & Kings, now would likely be the time to get it as it's already been on the Flash Sales twice (I didn't know they were doing that, but it was apparently both Day 3 at 8am and Day 5 at midnight) and now it's on the Daily. Only way it's likely to come up again is if it's on Community Choice.

The first one, Chaos Theory, double agent, and conviction. Pandora was just horrible for me.

Enjoy your DRM.

We don't accept steam for the drm. We accept it as an effortless and inexpensive option to quickly find, investigate, buy, download and engage the community and our friends with a variety of high quality games from both major studios and independent artists at affordable prices.

Traditional DRM exists only to police the user. Steam is unique in that it offers a variety of quality features that make bypassing it less attractive.

meh. Could care less about most DRM. GFWL and UBI are terrible examples of DRM but for the most part DRM is not obtrusive. DRM exists all around you in the form of RFID, cable and internet service, electricity utilities etc. Games have it for a reason, as most of the same people who use it for an excuse to pirate were already pirating.

It sucks. It's not going anywhere even if you complain and boycott. The bottom line is it's not profitable to offer a product that the majority of users steal. If they can't control theft they chose not to offer the product. This is not a DRM thread. Please take this dead horse of an argument elsewhere.

Enjoy your DRM.

Believe me, I am very much enjoying it. It's a video game; I don't care about mild Steam-style DRM.

Enjoy your extra layers of nonSteam DRM, many of which conflict with each other and can eat your OS alive.

Just wanted to be specific about that. Moving on.

Civ III is a buck and some change. Go get it if you don't have it. Make that sandwich without meat for a day if you need to save the money.

I object to DRM when it causes problems, sets an install cap or bogs down my system. For example, EA's Origin? Try changing some hardware or even software in your machine, then sit back as Origin polls EVERYTHING IN YOUR SYSTEM for 2 minutes while it boots up.

That's what primarily annoys me. DRM does not need a snap shot of my hardware/software list every time I connect through the client, that's just stupid.
