Got myself some Just Cause 2 now, like it so far, it seems to have ample oppurtunities for silly. I am not a fan of the controls though, they seem... I don't know, just off somehow. I already had one ragequit from trying to climb the casino wall with the grappling hook and my hero decided that no, I do not want to let go so you can grapple a bit higher up than two meters above you, I am just going to let go, turn around and assume you wanted me to paradive. No mr. Game, that is not what I wanted you to do, just like I didn't want that to happen the previous ten times.

Jump prior to hitting the grapple button, not after, and only push jump once. Jump is also the parachute open button so if you're high enough to start freefalling it will parachute on the second jump press.

It takes some getting used to but once you get the rhythm down its fun. :)

Also nothing at all is better than being chased by two jeeps and grappling one to the other as you're going around a corner, making them jerk and slide all over, or grappling them to the ground causing them to flip end-over-end or jerk violently sideways.

or grappling a soldier to the back of your bike. :D

I'm really enjoying JC2 but it definitely does have some control issues. Namely, Rico is supposed to spin around if you try to shoot too far to the side or behind him, but sometimes he doesn't and you just end up shooting the wall in front of you. Also, sometimes that happens with rocket launchers. WELP

Gah the grappling hook controls could really do with some modding. Standing on the swedes car I thought this would be a fun time to try out some things like grappling a car to the ground or two enemy cars together. Just that for every time that succeeds there is a time when the game goes, naah I think you waited a millisecond too long with choosing the next grapple target so I am just going to make you fly off the car like a stinger missile instead. The normal grapple and double grapple should really have been bound to different keys. Still, when it does work it is spectacular :p

I should have bought GTA IV yesterday when I saw it. It's still on sale for the same price, but they're now out of keys and in the process of getting more.

You should be able to buy it still. They'll send an email once more keys are created. I had to do the same thing with Borderlands.

I enjoyed both Bioshocks myself. If anything the main reason that the 2nd wouldn't be as good as the first is because as someone else said we've been there before. Now if somehow the two had been switched (though it wouldn't make as much sense) the roles would be reversed.

Wow, I bought it only a few hours ago.
Bought Bioshock and JC2 since there were only 30 minutes left. Hope to enjoy Bioshock soon enough, though I've already beaten JC2.

I am having one of those moments, you know when you stumble upon a true gem... I love point and click adventure games, and have played a lot of them, but I had never played Broken Sword... Now I have three of them to play and I can't help but wonder why I never picked these up earlier. Have been playing the first one now and everything is clicking, the game is gorgeous, the story is engaging and the puzzles are so far just the right amount of puzzling.

Through chance i've gotten the other two over time, except from the item shop one.

Unless you were being sarcastic in talking about it, would you reccomend it?

I've heard it was pretty good, and I had fun with the demo. I was just making fun of Tripjack's sarcastic comment. If your on the fence play the the demo. I would get it but,

Looks like STALKER is having a franchise sale. I've played none of them, but I recall some bug issues and something else related to them that, at one point, I was going to wait and see if it got fixed.

So, were they patched up well? Is there mod support? Good times to be had by all?

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

Vote for SimCity4. The others are terrible.

I own a hard copy of 4, but still. More people should own it.
